Likes

There is no uniform which I like the most and the interaction between senior and junior is awesome
The Teachers are awesome in the college. The digital Library is too good.
The campus area is to good and it's culture is also too good.

Dislikes

Not disliking the college I dislike the aktu curriculum.
Aktu curriculum is very hectic. And not of any use.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Curriculum is good I like this we enjoyed it most. We only want that curriculum is up to date not to old and out dated. It must be less theoretical and more practical. Programming must be encouraged more at the place of theoretical useless subject.

Internships Opportunities

TCS AMAZON WIPRO and many gaming companies give the internship opportunity to students. Projects like sports car and robots and in biotechnology field many projects are made. And many opportunities are there in college

Placement Experience

From fifth semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS infosis Amazon Wipro flipkart Google Microsoft visited and made many offers. Highest package from our college is 30 lakhs per annum and median is 5 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total Year fees is 115603 which includes all the fees except the aktu registration fees at the time of examinations. For fee waiver seat you have to pay only 6000 for a year. Yes, you get the Scholarship form UP government of amount 45000 to 50000 is you take the admission by counseling.

Campus Life

There are many festivals and events are going on in my college. The class room technology is also to good projectors are there to teach us and clarify our doubts. There are many clubs in the college to improve your skill in any field.

Admission

I liked this college because it is one of the best college of Noida and it's fees is also less as compared to other colleges which attracts me more. The prosess for taking admission tk Galgotia's College is aktu counseling.

Faculty

All the faculties of galgotia's College are awesome everyone have there own strengths. I like my soft skill facultie he is like our big brother and is awesome. Hello also treat us like his brother encourage us motivate us and tell the truth and facts and guide us for better future.

Night Life

Library is too too good and there is also a digital Library in the campus where you can do your coding work etc. The locality is too good there is a metro station near the college which helps students very much.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Lab infrastructure and availability and practical approach
Hygience managed in every block and department
Availability of faculty and easy to approach and contact

Dislikes

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges

More industry workshop and seminars can be held to increase exposure.
Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.
Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Life at Galgotias College: Beyond the Classroom

To get admission in this college there are 2 methods one is through direct admission and other through aktu counselling (jee mains score).Cutoff is reased by aktu to get admission in college.
