Course Curriculum Overview

4

From Dunlop it's nearly 10 mins away via auto In private comparatively it's a good college for biotechnology It's a application based course so there are a lot of practicals and seminars for us There are some unnecessary focus on subjects that we don't need and it should not be given that much priority and the labs could have been better First two exams occur arround 4-5 months gap

Internships Opportunities

4

The hod will provide you with paid non paid internships but you shall be looking for more in government portals like swayam plus or swam Nptel and much more.. The College will create your I'd in internshala If you're good enough you will be getting internships with stipend... But I will still suggest look up for something that will help you

Placement Experience

2

From 3rd year you're eligible for campus placements I am not in the 3rd year have no idea about placement Highest it can go above 15-20 lakhs Lowest is 3.5lpa The percentage of students getting placement is not high as many are going with further studies it's approximately 60-65% My plans are also for further studies... Now the 4 years graduation course have not been graduated so we don't know about much! It can told after 2 more years

Fees and Financial Aid

You will get a scholarship if u have more than 60 percentage in your 12 th boards... The seat capacity is 60 and it exceeds the limit They do provide placements...but it's not worthy and also they will give u internship opportunities With scholarship you will be paying 37800 per semester And without scholarship it's 40k And during admission with scholarship you will be paying 62000 and without its 65k to 68k.. Exam fees are different before every semester exam you will be paying 1.5k labs are not very well equipped!

Campus Life

4

JIS SAMMAN it's an annual event And a lot of things and celebration happens throughout the year that cannot be listed The library is very good You can get exotic books to issue and read over there you can also see the phd researchs from jis phd graduates Each classroom has a digital board some are not working though

Admission

I didn't apply for much colleges I was sure I will begoing for this one as for me it's suitable You have to give a test JET where everyone is selected no need of worrying and you will be paying the fees and boom the admission is done It's very easy and simple

Faculty

4

The faculty overall are nice during the time of admission I haven't faced any problem but don't get into fight with anyone or else it will be very problematic The faculties are approachable they will definately help you if you face any problem they are helpful if you study I can't take the names on who I like or dislike for reasons They're are a total of 2 exams per sem Mid sem and end sem in midsem you have 30 marks and in end sem you have 50 marks that's 80 marks and other 20 are internal marks.. There are practicals and viva s.. External will be taking your viva

Interview Experience

5

They were all MCQ based on the jet entrance test and easy as hell You just have to pass your 12 th boards no other criteria No prep needed So relax it's a private uni getting into this is not hard rather you should focus on your personal growth thats how you're gonna full full your dreams

Night Life

2

Night there isn't safe and everything is covered under 8 pm So there is no night life I am not a hosteller but I know that you have to be in the hostel under 6 pm There a lot of hangout cafes very cheap and affordable just outside the campus... But please don't roam alone at night !

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
