Remarks

Very good environment for studying. The local people here is very friendly. Transportation problem is a issues here. The train station is almost 3 km away from the college. So, who come to the college from their home daily. They will face some issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college authority is very serious about the course curriculum. They put all the basic and important things on the syllabus. Also the practical classes are very much helpful. A total of almost 35 subjects are taught in this college.

Placement Experience

The college arrange some outstanding companies to attend our campus drive. Many students got placed every year in these multinational companies. Some local companies also came. But, the problem is the percentage of students got placed is low. Around 30%. It needs to be improved a bit.

College Events

The grand college fest is compulsory every year. Also the tech feat is very popular in our college. The local school and college students care here to participate in this event. Many seminars are organized every year leading by many experienced professionals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my time the total fees I have paid is 382000 Rupees in four years. The examination fees of 1000 Rupees for every semester is not included here. Also a soft skill development program fees 4000 extra. Compared to the other private engineering colleges, it is average.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships given to the poor and intelligent students. The scholarship amount is also good. Also the college arrange such scholarships for the students. I also got a scholarship of 20000 per year, for 4 years.( Best is Got admission in TFW Cota)

Campus Life

The college arrange many sports events every year. Cricket and football tournament between the students and the teacher are most popular. The labs are advanced with modern equipments. But, the electronics lab needs to be improved.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are also good and very helpful. The ragging is totally banded here. Very good environment between the seniors and the new comers. If you have any confusion about any lessons then feel free to go the seniors. The will definitely solve your problem.

Admission

After the WBJEE result, my rank was 23000. Then I have done a DD of around 500 rupees. And according to my choice filling I got this college. I came here with basic fees and I got admission. The full process is official counseling process.

Faculty

The faculty here is not bad. Some very very good and experienced teacher are there in the college. They are very helpful also. But, still I think there needs some improvements. Some teachers are new and inexperienced. The college authority should short out this problem.

Faculty is serious and everything happens on time with proper functioning.
I liked the food of my hostel Raman abas that's unique because hostel generally provide average food.
I liked my batchmates, seniors and my hostel mates. They're just love.

Dislikes

The hostel and faculty infrastructure is very old need replacement asap.
Rural location of colleges so urban access of blinkit,zomato etc is unavailable.
Placement numbers here is too short university need to work on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

Likes

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

use of projector is very helpful for us .
faculties behaviour is good ,they are quite helpful toward us.

small area campus is that what I do not like
canteen facilities are not good enough .
small space library are not enough for all students

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

Plenty of patient variety for better clinical exposure

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

Placement Experience:

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good.
