Course Curriculum Overview

4

I admire the curriculum presented to us as it exposes us to learnings from all school of thoughts however it makes me question how relevant a few concepts are ti the course i have taken so i feel adding a bit more theoretical knowledge mught help but honestly i have zero complains

Internships Opportunities

5

Not much idea about the internships as i am still in my first year however when i do get to know ill come and write a review here again so yeah thats how it goess anyway thats college i hope i get wonderful opportunities from here though

Placement Experience

3

Im not really sure about placements ad its a bew college and its my first year but yes our college has a placement committee that has been formed this year and already placements for some of my seniors has been completed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i paid for my course was 1 lakh along with that i had to pay 20 thousand deposit for my hostel that i will get by the end of my 4 year course in the college and 1 lakh 30 thousand fee for my 3 sharing room in hostel. I was granted a scholarship for getting over 80 percent in my grade 12 exam the scholarship is around 25k worth and a 5k early bird discount.

Campus Life

3

Fests aren't that active but we have a number of clubs that are very active along with that we have NSS ANS NCC and there re weekly bhajan sandhyas that take place in the college along with that we have hoatel engagement sessions so yes they are preety medium to be exact

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is great except for the communal washrooms that are very dirty, along with that the food is a bit bland and very Repeptive which makes us want to cook maggie most of the times otherwise its great

Admission

I applied to 4 colleges and got into all 4 of them I applied to mount Carmel, jyoti nivas, Ahmedabad university and Chanakaya university I didn't go to the other 3 colleges and went for chanakya university cause it was the only college that offered a 4 year course and was within my budget. For the application to my current college i had to clear the college entrance exam and clear the interview after which i got in

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is pretty decent, i would not name the faculty but our English professor and indian logic professor are very generous and understanding whereas for dislike i haven't had enough time to dislike any professor as its just first semester that we are done with. We have 2 exams yearly and various other tests We get 40 marks from summative assessment and 60 from formative assessment

Night Life

4

Our curfew to be back in the hostel is 7 30 and to be back in our rooms is 10 o clock the library usually is opne till 9 pm After dinner everyone is out going onn walks around the university and these walks are pretty much regular Usually in college the cafeteria in the day and the flagpost at nights are regular hang out spots Outside campus devanhalli is the most popular hangout spot

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
