Course Curriculum Overview

4

Their is not any aspects of the curriculum that made me influenced my decision in taking this course. The curriculum made an important role for preparing me for real world applications. They way of teaching of faculty according to the curriculum made the connection between the subject and the real world applications. Faculty should improve the course curriculum in some points . They should increase the amount of periods in the workshop. The faculty teaching skills were amazing. The exams they conduct is not much difficult.

Internships Opportunities

1

Till now I haven't received any internship opportunities. But I will do it definitely at the end of the summer semester exams. College management is planning to give internship opportunities to the students.

Placement Experience

4

The highest placement in our college is 56 lacs per annum. Form 6th semester onwards you are eligible for campus placements. IBM , Microsoft and ultratech and byju's are the most active companies visiting in our campus. In every year 1000+ placements are giving in our campus. 67% of students are getting placements My plans after getting the degree is to get prepare for UPSC exams

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay - 95000 course fee but the Telangana government pay this fee amount. Tution fees - 95000 Caution fees-1000 Admission fees -10100 Library fees-15000 Development fee - 0 Exam fees-2500 Supplimentry exam fee -2500 Condonation fee -500 Lab fees will be included in course fee My friend was paying 95000 and I am paying is 0. Epass scholarship is about to pay total course fee of government junior college students. Their is not any scholarship for merit cum need( I think).

Campus Life

4

Spectra is one of the event recently held in our college and the SRU MUN in the college campus. Their is a wide range of accessibility of books and journals available in the Library. Their are projectors in our classrooms to and the wifi network in our classroom. Management is mostly interested in conducting in the sports and extracurricular activities in the campus. Most of the students are participating in the clubs offered by the college clubs . Our students portal is most active. Every single update is updated within seconds. This impacts on students to get a clarity in every situation.

Hostel Facilities

4

They give free wifi in the hostel . They give bed and storage rack available and studying table are also available.. Meal provided in our hostel is tasty and healthy. The serving staff maintains the cleanliness while serving. The menu is serving accordingly to the menutable. You have to pay the 1st semester hostel fee money to the hostel management. And have to give details. The hostel fee is quite expensive but it's worthy (100000).

Admission

I got EAPCET seat in this college. I got more highest rank in the EAPCET. So, as per the cutoff of the EAPCET entrance exam , I got seat in SR University in civil engineering. Has I got the highest rank in the EAPCET. May colleges rejected me in the process of admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty approach with students is more. They came and teach and ask questions to test the activeness of the students. All of our faculty is friendly while teaching and giving guidance. I like the way of teaching of them. Maths sir's is need to improve the way of teaching. He is wasting a lot of time while asking questions to students. The exams are conducted in openbooks type for the students who are the seniors . The exams for the freshers is not much difficult. We can easily pass if we study the exam. Every curriculum is relevant to our course

Night Life

4

Campus life blends structured routines and spontaneous moments that shape the student experience. The library, often open until 10 PM, is a hub for focused study, while the gym, closing around 9 PM, attracts those seeking fitness or relaxation. Cafeterias, lively spaces for meals and conversations, close by 8 or 9 PM, with vending machines catering to late-night cravings. Public areas like lawns and amphitheaters offer vibrant evening hangout spots. Hostels buzz with life, though curfews can vary—women’s hostels often close by 9 or 10 PM, while men’s hostels allow later entries. Late-night bonding in hostels or terraces fosters community. Inside the campus, students love lawns, cafés, and cultural centers hosting events. Outside, nearby cafés, parks, and malls provide entertainment and relaxation. The locality is generally safe, with good lighting and security, though roaming in groups is wise. These experiences balance academics and fun, building friendships and memories that define.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
