I like the campus of our university, whenever we feel depressed, the campus gives us the power.
The hod of our department MBBT is soo student friendly
College provide sports opportunity to the students.

Dislikes

The teachers are so soo good, some of are really don't know how to teach.
University don't give us time to prepare for exam
Everything is paid, we don't have soo much money

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose MBBT which stands for molecular biology and biotechnology, the labs are good, they have almost all the things. There are 4 exam in one semester, 1st sessional, mid term, 2nd sessional and end term

Class Size: 2500Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are alot of internship opportunities but as i am in 1st semester so i don't know as much. But i have seen my senior doing internship, it is compulsory from doing an internship from 3rd semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission, I paid around 25000, now in 2nd semester admission I have to pay 16000, it includes the hostel fees but we have to pay 2000 per month as a mess fees in hostel. I didn't get any scholarship till now, our batchmate also pay the amount of fees in the university. Yes, as a central University, it is some expensive. College campus is good, but not all professers are good.

Campus Life

School of science every year held a science fest named inscignis, our library have almost all the books of course related, but it doesn't have any other kind books like novels. There are so many clubs .

Hostel Facilities

In one room there is two girls but due to less number of room, we have to share a double room with 3 girls. They don't give us table and chairs for study. Food quality is very low Registration process is okay

Hostel Fee: INR 4000 per year

Admission

This is the only central University in our state assm. And I don't want to go outside assam.so I decided to study here in MBBT department as I like to study biology. I got the addmission through cuet ug exam.

Faculty

Male teachers are more than female, some of the faculty members are good but some of them are really don't know how to teach. Exam are happened so frequently, and also the marking system is so strict. Due to over classes we can't focus on other activities.

Night Life

There is a gym, but i haven't been there, Cafeteria is present but price is more. The hostels are overall good, but the food is so bad in our hostel. The famous hangout places are niribili, community hall.

I like the infrastructure of our college.
Our college have enough rooms and halls to accommodate huge number of students
Digitalisation in teaching methods in all classrooms.

Dislikes

Toilet is still not clean as promised by our GS.
Lack of equipments in practical laboratories.
Cleanliness and hygiene are a bit off track.

The course prepares well for students as the acedemic results is always good which will make gratutides well equipped for jobs. The exams clustering of multiple exams should be within times which relases unneccsary stress, the exams are conducted easy to insane which is very challenging for the students.

Our department (botany) has well experienced and knowledgeable professor's who guided us both practically and theruotically which help us to gain knowledge at a faster rate
The most important thing is that our department always go for practical experience i.e.through trip.
The department often conducts seminars and guest lecturers

As a student of Aryavidyadpeeth college, it is very difficult to be part of our college,as the department is very popular
Due to high popularity, the college campus is very crowded, which sometimes leads to overcrowding

All the faculty are very learned and helpful. They make an effort and are very invested in our progress
The infrastructure is very modern with multiple laboratories and conference halls. Construction work is going on for increasing the campus area and buildings
Apart from departmental libraries, the college boasts a central library with a large collection of books, articles and journals

Dislikes

Need for a separate parking area for students
Canteen and cafeteria space should be increased
Seat capacity should be increased in the common room

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure.
