Campus Life

My overall experience with campus life has been enriching and well rounded. The library is a treasure trove of knowledge, offering wide range of books. Classrooms are equipped with modern technologies including smart board.

Admission

I choose this college over others because it offered perfect blend of academic excellence. The other colleges I applied to had competitive eligibility criteria. The admission process at my college streamedline and transparent. The overall addmission experience was positive.

Faculty

The faculty and students ratio is good faculty relationship to students are good faculty approaches to students. Our Hindi subject faculty is good because he is very helpful. Our English faculty is not like to me in helping conditions. Three papers are done by me in study time.

Night Life

Nightlife around my college campus is vibrant yet safe, offering plenty of opportunities. Popular hangout spots inside the campus. The locality around the campus is well lit. The overall college experience with cherished memories and stronger friendship.

Perspective as a VCW student

Likes

Facility and infrastructure is really good . In facility we get good internet connection e.g , talking about labs too , we get well equipped class and materials needed for the test , sometimes it may be bit defective aur old.
Teachers are the best things about this college. Course curriculum are designed in the way that you cover everything about the topic infact , sec , aec courses are also designed in students favour only .
The campus area and environment is good too , you may find the campus area small but it's really beautiful and peaceful , there is gym , canteen , ground with basketball and badminton court . You may not get the top notch facility but its not worse.

Dislikes

The first thing could be interior and mangement of washrooms. Canteen could be more better and provide more options . In summer , other than library we get no other sitting area , except the open classroom which are in tolerable in heat.
The bus management is worse too, I left the bus service because of their management.
The fests are not worse but could be organized in more better way .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally find the curriculum to be well made and in favour wit the students. In teaching methods , the subjects that demand practical exposure should be given tasks to be conducted on the real life situation, like the opportunity we get during internship . They should provide task like that .

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

THE OXFORD OF THE EAST

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.
