Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is but outdated but I can say that exams are easy to pass with this curriculum As the curriculum is outdated we cannot expect to feel comfortable while facing real world problems The faculty should improve their quality of teaching Every internal exam is conducted after 2 months of course starting and a semester is exam will be completed in about 4 months Exams are but easy

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm pursuing my 4th year btech at Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus. I have been paying a fee of 1,25,000 rupees annually for 4 years. The tuition fee is 1,25,000 rupees and there will be extra fees like NBA fees of rupees 2500 and JNTUH fees 3000 If a student want to opt for book bank scheme they will charge you 7500 for 4 years providing you books on rent for each semester For SC,ST students if you got admission through convenor quota you will have to pay only the NBA and JNTUH fees which is 5500 per year The external exam fee is 2000 rupees for semester and there will be 8 such semester exams There is no lab fee for 4 years If any one other than ST,SC got admission through convenor quota the and eligible for fees reimbursement then the government will help you with rupees 35,000 per year remaining amount should be paid by student

Campus Life

4

There are quite less number of fests Yearly 3-4 fests thats it Library is really good there are lot of books Facilities are not upto the mark like water and washrooms Sports has less importance in the college There are some groups and clubs like street cause edc club

Admission

I choose this college because I got seat in the counselling of EAMCET and I also applied for other colleges like sreenidhi but I couldn't be able to get it because of my rank Admission process is of two ways one i convenor quota and other is management If u get selected in EAMCET and got this college in counselling you are admitted through convenor quota or if you visit college and purchase the seat you will be admitted as management quota

Faculty

3

There are quite good number of faculty available in the college. The quality of teaching is very average. The faculty student relationship is good and they are easily approachable I like Dr.Maheshwara reddy sir because he teaches very well The faculty of the placement department is very arrogant I don't like them at all There are 8 semester exams for 4 years and there are two internals exams for each semester Exams are quite easy and you can pass easily The curriculum is little bit outdated

Interview Experience

3

No I haven't faced any interview or GD for the admission I was directly admitted through convenor quota. If you clear EAMCET exam and get a rank through counselling you can simply get into this college if your rank is good

Night Life

4

Gym is nice Istara canteen is the best hangout place Library is really good with lot of books Public Buses facilities is bad College has safe environment Hostel timings are 6pm after that no one is allowed to go out

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed
