Course Curriculum Overview

Btech mechatronics is one of demanding course in the market and you will get opportunity in automation sector Btech tool is one the good required field for producton and manufacturing sector Btech mechanical is mother branch of all these branches and this gives opprtunity in all kind of sector may be manufacturing, automation ,service etc

Campus Life

There is no any campus life but if you have a good friend you can make the campus life good this college is only focusing on academic activities there is no focusing on extra curricular activities so overall campus life not as good as other one

Admission

One reason is I will get goverment Degree from this college other one is placement opportunities and last one is fees which is much more affordable than other colleges you will get number of opportunities for job

Faculty

There 3 engineering and 1 diploma courses offered in my college B.tech( mechatronics,tool, Mechanical) Diploma ( tool and die) there are two campuses in delhi one in okhla phase-2 and other one in wazirpur delhi both college have almost 20-20 permanent faculty and guest faculty for extra subjects

Night Life

No hostel no gym you need take PG or other renting room there is no any hangout place in college but you can enjoy hangout outside college campus this depends upon you classmates and batchmates there no any place to hangout inside campus

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Dislikes

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

My college provide good no. Of placement and placement from 7th semester students are eligible for placement many companies come over for recruits highest package is 6 lakh to 80 lakhs above 6 cgpa students are eligible to sit on placement

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Canteens are the best in this college and food is hygienic
College infrastructure is good and maintained
Connectivity to this college is good just beside the college gate metro is there

Dislikes

Small campus size around 7 acres and large crowd
Library is really small ,there is not much space in library
Strict rules and regulations like you can't play untill 4 pm in the college ground

Placement Experience:

From the end of third semester students are eligible for placement. Tcs, accenture, Deloitte,amazon, samsung etc. Highest package is 42 lakh offered by Amazon. Eighty to ninety percent student get placed . I want to work in faang companies right now .

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Exam is easy also and faculty is supportive
I love the main campus of university established in dwarka sector 10

Dislikes

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy
Management a little bit and registrar rude behaviour

I recommend for diploma course to persuing from DSEU university and btech from gb pant campus only this is best campus only for bachelor of technology in computer science engineering, placement is also good for this college

Although the college is only 6 acres but it is well maintained
You can find various benefits in the college by joining different clubs
Faculties are passed from prestigious universities like IIT, IIM, MIT etc

Dislikes

College is not big so you can't explore In the college
There are no air conditioners in classrooms so It feels really hot in summers

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about placement because I don't want to sit in the placement drive of my college. Like I told earlier also that I have interest in electronics, so I want to do something in that field. If I want then I will give GATE exam after 4 years of my college so that I can get a chance to do MTECH in vlsi.

The campus life is great, with may facilities for the students
The social life and culture in the campus is great
The qualification of faculty is good and the research environment is great

The course load is too much and it sometimes becomes too hectic
The hectic schedule doesn't allow some students to follow their hobbies
The course is too much theory based and doesn't allow self learning of the students

The campus placement is excellent. With the average package being 1500000. Many companies like, BCG, McKinsey, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Credit Suisse come for placement. Almost all the students get placed. I plan to go for higher studies after the degree

Mechatronics is offered by Delhi Institute of Tool engineering affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. I chose this course because it is very valuable in countries like Germany and Japan. This course is related to industrial robotics, incorporation of AI in mechanics which has the demand in future. The course curriculum is good, and the only thing I want is that the students should be taught more about the practicals related to this course. As our college is affiliated to GGSIPU, the students can participate in the annual cultural festival Anugoonj. Even our college organises the technical fest Ennogy provided that the students take the initiative in organising it and that the government funds it. For connectivity the college is just 2 km away from Govindpuri metro station on the violet line of DMRC one can easily take an auto, bus or tempo service to reach the college.
