What Students Say

Likes

The most good and positive thing of the college is there is no ragging ,ragging is punishable in this college.
There is a huge difference in the ratio of girls and boys. There are very few girls in comparison to boys.
There is different student council club approx 20-25 . students can engage in any of thata club and can improve their talent in which they are interested.

Dislikes

There are too much crowd in this college there are 60-70 students in a single section and there are 20-23 sections.
Because of too much crowd not everyone got placements very few students out of these got placements .
They should provide more placements to the students .

Course Curriculum Overview

IT sector of the college is good I want to go in the IT sectors and my interests is in computers that's why I select BCA.sometimes they teach in class but they should that things in lab.as for mid term exam we have 1 and half hours but exam is always leanthy so we could not complete aur exams so this should be improved.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

Form the 5th semester students become eligible for on campus placements. There are many companies visited for placements companies like microsoft, amazom, TCS,HCL technologies, capillary technologies and many more. Highest package is 1.54 cpa and average package is 3.5 -4 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of BCA for 1st year is 89000 and 21000 for specialization , specialization fee is for only 1st year in 2nd and 3rd year fees is 87000 .there is no increment of fees every semester or every year fees is constant for 3 years . University provides government schlorship UP SCHLORSHIP .

Campus Life

There are many fest they organise as in diwali they organized a diwali fest ,they organise every year a unifest. There is computer labs, projector in every classrooms. University organize sports every year there are many types of games like cricket, football, handball, vollyball etc. There is many student council club that Students can join according to there interest.

Admission

I didn't applied for any other college.I choose this college because IT sector of this college is good than other colleges i think. addmission process of the college is firstly we have to fill application form,then we will get an offer letter in 10-15 days then we have to do registration and do some of our fees as I paid 25000 for registration. Eligibility for BCA admission is 50-60% in 12th board is required. we can get admission in this college by CUET exams also.

Faculty

Faculties are good there teaching way us very good they make comtact with students and solve the query of students.There are many exams Internal assessment,mid term ,end term,there are many students who failed to clear exams and they give exams again .

Night Life

There is gym in hostels.cafeteria in university having different foods. There is library in college for teachers and students students can go to library and can study in free times, they can issue books according to their needs.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Lab infrastructure and availability and practical approach
Hygience managed in every block and department
Availability of faculty and easy to approach and contact

Dislikes

Poor management regarding any issue and problem
iCloud app not working properly and full of glitches and bugs
Slow process and management takes a lot of time to do work

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

I liked the professor of college their teaching style and unique approaches

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges

The curriculum designed is new latest like we study subjects such as emerging technology digital electronics computer science c , english for job the teacher teaches us using projector visualisation the first mid sem happens after 1 month or opening of college difficulty level is very easy

Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.
Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

i dislike thing in my collage are the students are not mature.

i my collage there was a big grounds for different games but the game should we inly during and specific program.

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Life at Galgotias College: Beyond the Classroom

To get admission in this college there are 2 methods one is through direct admission and other through aktu counselling (jee mains score).Cutoff is reased by aktu to get admission in college.
