Opportunities for placements

Likes

Our campus is equipped with modern infrastructure
Every corner of campus has high speed wifi
There is sports facilities available for people who are interested in sports

Placement Experience:

As I am a 1st year student i couldn't provide much to this but as I have heard from senior the college provides an 6 to 8 LPA average package and companies like PhonePe, Juspay, eurofins, Hitachi visits the college for placements. Overall the placements are good if u are a hardworking student

Good internship opportunities and industry ready traning

Likes

Great faculty, modern campus, and 1:1 ratio
Rigorous curriculum, top labs, and 1:1 ratio
Vibrant campus life, excellent mentorship, infrastructure and ratio

Placement Experience:

Campus placement drives begin in the 7th semester with companies offering average packages around 4-6 LPA. While company visits vary each year, our professors work hard to provide us with strong domain knowledge and practical skills . Ultimately securing a role depends on personal efforts and i planned to leverage these skills for off campus placements

the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Review for a Future aspirant

Likes

We have a temporary campus .which was taken as rent in goverment engeneering college raichur .and permanent campus was yet to finish by the time juniors come the permanent campus will be getting finished.just needed the proper campus no improvments
The campus life was not as expected by a student because here the cluns are not very active like in any other colleges , u can enjot a lot with your friends in your hostel.
Every branch has a faculty adviser we can meet them and discuss our problems with them .the faculry were very good they were well experienced ,they teach in general way as any teacher does on a digital board.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not that good , the students were not getting places for good amount of package as expected .
The labs were not well maintained that should be resolved that is the main problem in this college as well as library we have a very small library which is in a size of a regular class
Hostel was not within the campus which makes some difficulty to walk through the streets with roaming buses and cars and bikes , in our college boy girl ration was very less it is 1: 7 like that.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %

A Perfect Blend of Academics, Practical Learning, and Career Growth

I chose this college because of its good academic reputation, experienced faculty members, industry-oriented curriculum, and strong placement opportunities. Compared to other colleges I considered, this college offers a better balance between quality education, practical exposure, infrastructure, and affordability. The college also provides opportunities for internships, workshops, technical events, and skill-development programs that help students prepare for their careers....Read More
