Amazing college

I just wish some teachers could be replaced and the hostels can be made available to Delhites too, as of now only outside Delhi students can avail hostel facilities. Also the canteen is really good but can be made better.

Coarse curriculum is updated and the complete course is of 4 years divided into 8 semesters, in each semester there are midsem and endsem exams and various assignments, projects and practicals. The syllabus is relevant and practical too.

Particularly for technical courses that is Computer science, Information Technology and Software engineering the placement record is really good with average package of 15 LPA. The internships are also provided to students from 2nd year onwards with stipend varying from 20000 to 80000.

The college is full of events, initially the fresher's week is a 4-5 day celebration with edm, dj, cultural events and all, then the society events, Literary fest: YUVAAN, the greatest fest of Delhi: ENGIFEST, and much more, much more then the farewell week which just went away.

Fee is very expensive like around 1.8 Lakhs Per Annum, but for financially weak students scholarships and student loans are easily available. One of my friend also took the scholarship and as promised he will be refunded back the complete tution fee.

Yes there are various scholarships like 100% on tution fee to the financially and economically weak students which is like 60% of the fees. Also we can take student loan upto 10 lakhs as per various different schemes.

DTU is fully equipped with laboratory facilities be it physics, A.I., chemistry, mechanics or robotics. Also the sports ground is really vast to entertain a whole lot of energetic students also gymnasiums are provided for free to all students.

Alumni are great here, example: the CEO OF PAYTM, Vijay Shekar Sharma is a DTU Alumnus, and Sushant Singh Rajput the famous Bollywood actor too, Raj soin, a great business man today. Seniors here are also very kind and helpful.

Through the entrance exam: IITJEE MAIN conducted after class 12. Based upon merit list we get the preferred courses in various participating colleges. The test is a 3 hour online exam which is attempted by around 15 lakhs aspirants every year but only about 2 lakhs qualify.

Some faculties are really good whereas others aren't upto the mark. The professors are good at teaching while the PHD graduates aren't good enough. Sometimes we are given surprise tests, also assignments are given on a regular basis.
