Course Curriculum Overview

There are many different subjects you can find in sastra college.when I compared with other colleges,you can learn more subjects here.exams are not big problem to write .you will get all types of resources by faculty.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee per semester is 85000.yearly it will increase five percent.there are some extra fee total around twenty thousand which is one time for only first year.there is no reservations in college and for any btech course same fee .

Campus Life

The campus life is good and hostles they provided also very good.there many clubs to join, each club will come with different aspects.the facilities in the class rooms and practical labs also good. You will find all needs what you want

Admission

The main parameter to chose sastra college is to improve communication skills .I am from another state,so I have to talk in English .which can help me to improve my communication skills and the college is top rated.

Faculty

Sastra college faculties are friendly and they are trained lecturers.the questions papers are quite different than other colleges.total hundred marks per subject and it is divided into two parts,fifty for internals and other as semester.

Night Life

Sastra college have very strict rules.there are many conditions to be follow in college.canteens inside the college are good and hygiene,you can find all basic needs what you want.gym facility is also available.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I don't like food because that food and all not eaten in my life
I don't like the hostel because they gave a common bathroom for us

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education.
