College : A time of growth, exploration and mistakes .

Because of good faculties and fees was less to other courses , placements hence i selected this course It is moderate because they bring startup companies where they teach us how to work in real world with application like they give insights of it fields. Area of improvement: in final year project other facultys were not so interactive to submit our project. It was little difficult for us. Finding internship was difficult for us .if college gave some idea it would have been great for us . Other faculty should also help us for projects They should conduct one to one communication with student and teacher it will help both of the people where to improve. They should take positive and negative feedback both the parties then it will be better. They should provide more insights of it industries to student, they should take us to industrial visit which is lacking for both of us. Faculties only taught about book knowledge they should teach about outer it knowledge to students. If student is failing they should not tell other students to guide that failure student.theh should teach him .that time he will get encouraged . The frequency and timing of exams are difficult because no gaps were there after lab exam so we have to study within a time .one by one exams .sometimes 2 exams were there onsame it was difficult for students to manage. Exams fees was most expensive from University and even if wrote correct in exam they fail us . because to get money from us from reexam and rechecking the paper which is most expensive fees to pay for students.

I got internship in Parvam Pvt Ltd in banglore, where i worked as intern as a android developer intern.it is a good opportunity where they taught us real world experience of it fields how to work, how to think all it was excellent experience for me. No stipend was available. Companies are loginware came to our college to give internship in the domain of iot. Project : Bikehub,thehubapp i worked in both projects in Parvam Pvt Ltd .where it is both are application which I got the knowledge of android, java,kotlin and SQL They gave us to give design in staruml design Tasks were daily we have to do it and show it to our mentor daily and last of the month we have to give presentation what we done in task and what we learnt in college.

Placement of college is good not fully good but little compared to other colleges. They only service based companies it have less package . From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Tcs, wipro, betsol,Genpact,infosys other startup companies are there but they all are service based and less package for 3 lpa . No product companies are there it is quite bad and packages are not given as product companies. In our batch 15 members got placed but overall percentage is 60% students got placed from college After degree doing some course getting placement there and doing work and studying for higher studies.

The year wise I paid to the college :1,00,000 The tution fees: 40,000 , registration fees : 10,000, bus fees : 10,000, lab fees : 20,000 development fees : 10,000 , fest and other co circular activities : 10 ,000 Other batchmates fees structure was 90k + hostel fees 50,000 Scholarships are central sector scheme of scholarship, state government scholarship I took financial aid fromthe government name is minority community education loan from state government

In first year and 2nd year we had great campus life, with co circular activities, university fest , college fest all. In 3rd year they didn't conducted due to some fights between management and principal. In 4th year we got Covid holidays so no fest any other activities conducted. The ethnic day , the sports fest, vtu fest,intra college fest were conducted two years. Technical fests means hackathon, science exhibition, quiz competition were conducted. The range and accessibility of books and journals are available but some books are not available due to shortage in books and expensive so they will not allow to take us to home. The projector was there in technical aspect .upsc was there , self to keep our laptop, bags were there class facilities was good. Sports was like throwball, volleyball,basketball was there till 3rd year later 4th year was Covid so it was not there.others like ethnic day, technical fest were conducted in campus. Eco club, ieee club ,sports club dance club and singing club was there which was helpful for students to get in stay for activities with this activities.

KVG college of engineering,sullia ,Jnnce shimoga, BIEt Davangere ,Nitte college of karkala.In this i got selection letter from KVG college of engineering for computer science but i didn't admitted because hostel fees was expensive and we heard that there is ragging , there was no good pg near to KVG college so i didn't admitted in that college. Why I selected PESITM because of location, fees was less compared to other college for information science course so. I got rejection from JNNCe for course Computer Science because of my CET score but I got selected in other courses ECE i am not interested in Electronics course so i rejected that.hence i didn't make into this college. Admission Process of my college : first they check PU score and cEt score half half.in that cet score should be below 90,000 rank of if you are eligible then they admit us in vcet result. After that they will make us to fill the form with advance amount then we have to pay complete course fees if some people can't means they should before exam comes .then only they allow students to write exam. Then pu percentage should be 60 % cutoff in exam for engineering they should have done science in Pcmb,pcmc, pcms from pre university. Cet rank should below 90k rank in cet And comate rank should be below 50k these are the exams conducted by state board for all over Karnataka from this students are eligible for admission in our college. For management students it doesn't apply cet round because they are paying full amount like 2lakhs ,3lakhs with that they have to give separate bus fees like that. The overall admission experience was good

It is quiet good but they mostly interact with toppers which make other average students confidence low from Hod of department. Other facilities are good they interact ,help us. Vinay sir , dept of ise, i like him because he interacts, if we asks doubts 1000 times he doesn't get angry, he explains us everytime without any hesitation.his interaction with students is good Umeshayya sir: i am really lucky to have him as my mentor because his lecture, explanation of topic is so awesome. From him i learnt lot of things how to study ,how to get marks all. Mahanthesh sir : My project guide and professor of M L . I loved his guidance for our project team and he was helping us in everything Pramod sir: placement officer, he was helping us for placements , he wants every student to get placed but our lectures were hesitating to send our name to placement department of they don't like us.but he was treating us equally. Venkatesh sir: He is good and I loved his lecture .but introvert .if he interacts with us it would have been great for both of us Gowthami mam, she is good lecture but if we ask doubt she gets angry for several times.simply she comes and shout in class room so i didn't like her shouting. Prassana kumar , he only interacts with his favourite students like topper, but he didn't like to interact with average students. Exams are conducted by VTU , there were 8 sems. In each semester there was 8 subjects including lab exams but in final semester only 7 subject were there. 4 to 5 students were fail to clear the exams. It was quite moderatw for us in course curriculum because exams don't have that much gap due to university guidelines and only one or two days gap for exams one by one.then after .after lab exam also gap was less. In starting semester we had study holidays later vtu changed for conducting workshops, internships and soft skills training so gaps in holidays also reduced to study in exams . Only m2,m3 were difficult to pass in exams.

There is no night life in our college .only when fest was conducted that time they gave bus to us to home that's it. Gym was about to open in college,now I don't know they opened it or not. Only 1 canteen is there no cafes in campus. Library will close at 6.30 pm evening because no classes were conducted after 6.30 in college , no bus will be available to drop us. For hostel students bus will be available to go for outing and shopping in college so the only only two buses available for boys and girls hostel student at night. Hostel timings opens at 5 for walking of students and closes at 9 in night Campus timing opens at 7 and closes at 9 Famous hangout places are lion safari, near to college, city centre mall which is far away , trees park only this things are near to our college. Inside college there is nothing to see like sightseeing places.
