Remarks

Overall my college is good in the long run. However there is a bit of problem in communication. The college being located away from the heart of the town is quite lonely, and communication unfriendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is good. In our first year students of all branches read the same syllabus. In case if a student wants to change his/her stream with a good CGPA in 2nd year. We have externals of 70 marks, 20 marks of internals and 10 marks for assignments. 100 marks of practical exams are conducted for each subject excey math. The theory papers are of 4 credit points and practical papers are of 2 credit points. Accordingly the CGPA is calculated.

Placement Experience

4

Our college has the highest placement as compared to other state government B. Tech colleges. The highest LPA ever recorded is nearly 10 which was taken by the service based company DELLOITE. It does not provide any internships.

College Events

3.5

It has one Technical Fest We call it as Samavesh. In this students of many colleges come to our college to take part in the robot competitions, drone competitions, gaming competitions, treasure hunt. It also has organized a hackathon this year in which I was a participant. The other is a cultural fest known as VASSAUNT. In this all types of dance, music, songs, DJ's actings stand up comedies are organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are two kinds of fee structures. One is general and other is self sustaining. The good rank holders of a branch belong to general category. They pay half the amount that a self sustaining has to pay.Since I belong to the self sustaining category so its expensive for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two of them first is Prerna. It is given to those students whose parents have an annual income of less than 6 LPA. According to caste quota they are given the money, with general category getting the least. The second is Medhabruti which is for those students who are good in co-curricular activities along with study.

Campus Life

2.5

For each extracurricular activity we have different clubs. Like Robotic Society which teaches how to make Robots, Entrepreneurship cell for event organising, Supra and Baha club for designing motor cars. Idea Innovation Cell for making the ideas a reality. Idea innovation cell was funded by ISRO under the name of VSLV, for incubation centre to launch satellites.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes at presently I am in the first year hostel known as Pulastya Hall of Residence. Overall its a good hostel with good food. We get two feasts each month with the best food. Our hostel has a good WiFi facility. The highest speed ever recorded by me is 24.8mbps. The one thing that's a bit problematic is the water supply.

Alumni/Alumna

They are good. The seniors are like our own brother and sister, who are always ready to help us. They give their 110% to help us. Seniors as well as the alumni often try to motivate us by organizing some workshops.

Admission

I cleared the JEE mains. It was just 8 marks more than the cut-off, my rank was 89,683. My wish was to do B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. But with that rank it was not possible. So I had a quota known as "green card"and with that rank and this rank I applied OJEE counselling and got my admission in this college.

Faculty

3

Faculty members are all right. They are always ready to clear your doubts and they are quite sincere. However since it's a government college so some teachers are careless with their duties & responsibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.
