Course Curriculum Overview

Though the curriculum was designed keeping in regard the syllabus for the ugc net but it fails to deliver the reqired result The teaching methods of some teachers is good while that if some is just page reading

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

10000 per semester for 4 semesters Majority of which constitute the tution fees and few is for lab fees also...while am not sure that is there any fees concession for the backward classes or not but their admission fees was definitely less

Campus Life

The university is still under construction and as such the sports and the playing field ate not yet there But the environment is good and green Transportation was one drawback of making the university in the jungle

Admission

I had applied in this university inly for the purpose if the closeness it shared toy had me and I he availablity of the required course Though i also wanted to go to jnu vut i dint had the reqired marks

Faculty

There are 6 faculty members for ours 2 batches of 45 students each and its pretty smooth to operate There are constant exams like mid sems and end sems and for the last semester that is 4th semester there has to b dissertation work to be submitted

Night Life

I didn't stay at the university campus or any hostel I used to commute from my house daily and the transport is really bad But as i have heard its really good and safe environment at night or upto evening

Better campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was good which influenced me to take the course and due to which my parents got motivated and the prefer to me to take this course. due to this I became knowledgeable and I gathered many job opportunities on my near by area. The frequency of exam was good and I corrected that very exam in my difficult level

Research exposure ..j&k is known as the treasure trove of geology Curriculum is designed in more practical approach type. Practical course is very intresting that's why I chose the course even though they need to do some work on that part as some teachers are still stuck in theory things that's not much relevant for today's need. More workshops should be conducted on weekly basis.

The great college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is practical periods also till 5 pm but there is absence of practical knowledge like no field visit and all no picnics no functions of any kind the student remains inside those 4 walls and no exposures to real world

From the 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus No-till now But I have heard that an average of 1-1.5lakh per month 80%-70% might be getting placement in the same or any other institutions Teaching the students of the same very institution

Remarks:

College has a very good faculty and administration. More focus is on passing the exam than learning new things. Get up needs to be maintained well. Labs are not upto the mark. Student attendence is not ensured.

The eligibility of the course is that you have to crack JEE-mains exam and with counselling you can get admission to this college. For the residentials of Jammu the lateral entries are made available with certain criteria. The application form and every small details can be taken from the official website of cuj. This website is provided with some contact number to whom you can contact for further details. Here there is no reservation benefits as the admission is done on the basis of common rank list(crl).
