Course Curriculum Overview

Since iam in the first semester,I have not get into my department,IT. For the first semester all department students will be combined and put in the same class and will be given common subjects which is easy to learn.

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 235000 per year

Placement Experience

This college has very good placement records.Last year highest package was 88lakhs per annum and the before year 1.08crore. They also providing placement and training class from the beginning of first year itself

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally the fees for first year students is 245000 and for other years is 2,05,000.Since iam a first graduate I will be deducted 27500 from the total fees,so the fees for first year is 2,17,500 and for the next year is 1,77,500 .This includes tution fees-27500, admission fees-27500, development fees -55000,hostel-78000 (non AC),98000(AC) , books nd stationary (wifi nd others)- 57000,mess deposit-7500.For management quota extra 1lakh will be asked.For 7.5 reservation students there no fees will be asked to pay for.There is a merit cum scholarship available here which will provide students upto 1lakh.

Campus Life

This college also offers a very good opportunities in sports and other activities.It was totally around 30 clubs and they conduct events very often.So it is place to study and enjoy.The campus is so pleasant surround by trees.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is okay.There is also ac rooms available. Hot water is available in the morning for bath.Drinking water is also good.For the mess it has two categories,general -3300/month and premium- 6600/month. The food is also good.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Admission

This college has very good placement records compared to others,so it opted it as second option.My first option is anna university where the fees is very low and quality of education is also good.But I didn't get seat there for CSE and IT.So I opted for SSN through tnea counselling.

Faculty

The faculties in the colleges are highly professional. Professors reach out the students and solve their doubts. They do their part very well. Since iam in the first year I do not who is the best faculty and all, for engineering graphics Alphin sir is the best professor, he teaches slowly and also in understanding way.There are two internal exam,which is quite tough,but we can get a good experience and knowledge.2 or 3 students in a class fail to clear the exam.The course curriculum is very good.

Night Life

The college has a very big library,air conditioned. It has totally 4 canteens.The closing time is 8.30 pm. Hostel Life is very good there. The hostel intime is 10.30pm for boys and 8.30 pm for girls. Inside college there is very big clock tower and a fountain which is the main attractive place .Outside the college there are malls nearby.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

This admission process consists of various steps first we need to attend the MCQ test after filling all the form it is mandatory to fill all the details that they ask in prior and after we receive a mail regarding the MCQ test timings and the subjects for this test will be our 12th maths and Science and English along with some attitude to check whether basic are strong. This test is not two difficult like JEE Mains It's Simple concepts of 12 grade which can be cracked easily and once you get qualified you will receive a mail for individual interview. I didn't choose the other colleges in TNLEA because the first applied college was SSNCE only and I got this college in merit. if, I apply other college is Anna university Chennai but lateral entry students have no seats at Anna university. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges because my first preference in SSN and i got it. I applied TNLEA website for lateral entry and studied diploma and Choice filling then allotment order. If you are trying for management quota you have have clear the exams and face to face interview.
