Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanted to study comouter science but unfortunately i got electrical and electronic engineering . I slowly started enjoying electrical more which i was hating in schools. Its really interesting course. My faculties simplified many concepts which really helped me to understand. And we have many revelavent videos in internet to understand the concept easily. We also have lab session to understand many things practically. Teaching methods are so good, we wont have any problem with faculties.

Placement Experience

4

SSN has good placement opportunities compared to all the other colleges in Chennai. They have provided huge opportunities for students and students are placed with extremely high packages. They have provided a good package for Computer Science and Engineering as well as which falls under the domain of electrical and mechanical very well and the average package was 6 lpa. They bring lots of good and reputed companies for placement and the placement process will be decided by the respective companies like exams interviews group discussions and its personal interviews etc. Even students of core jobs like mechanical have got an opportunity to get placed with 12 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ssn college is pretty good compared all the other college in chennai. I personally felt the amount of freedom a student received is incomparable with other college. I feel the fees structure is bit high as i come from a middle class family. My fee for first year is around 4lakhs including hostel excluding the mess fees. For mess we need to pay around 3k a month.

Campus Life

4

I would say my college has the best Infrastructures compared to all the other colleges of Chennai. In ssn we have two cultural one is technical another one is festival those the festival cultural happens during the March of every year this festival is free for the students the college does not collect any cultural fee compared to other colleges where students need to pay some fees like 500 to attend the culturals but in Assassin it's free for the students so the students get more involved in organising the events.

Hostel Facilities

2

There is different hostel rooms based on the students requirement they can choose particular rules such as there are shared rooms as well as individual rooms in individual they is also subdivisions like with them without AC with UN without balconys every room has different fee structures so based on our requirement we can choose the rooms so individual rooms have more privacy than we have facilities where two of them can share a single room or three of them can share a single room and the rooms are pretty decent not to bad and they clean the cause of flows everyday and the Bear is a good bathroom facilities and lights are also prediction and only thing I like about the hostel rooms this the curtains are pretty good and we have a mosquito net helps the lord during night time or during the winter time.

Admission

I had applied for many college, and i got a seat in SSN through management quota. This admission process consists of various steps first we need to attend the MCQ test after filling all the form it is mandatory to fill all the details that they ask in prior and after we receive a mail regarding the MCQ test timings and the subjects for this test will be our 12th maths and Science and English along with some attitude to check whether basic are strong. This test is not two difficult like JEE Mains It's Simple concepts of 12 grade which can be cracked easily and once you get qualified you will receive a mail for individual interview. In this interview you communication skills are tested. They will ask some topic and you need to talk about that topic for 2 minutes and other basics questions like tell me about yourself what course, why did you choose this course.

Faculty

4

The faculties are good. They provide study materials for every subject they handle. We also get opportunity to take seminar and project. Those study material is enough to get good marks in exam. The question papers are not too toigh and all. Its simple if we are clear with our topics. The faculties solves the problems in class and they are too friendly if we ask doubts. They take time to explain everything. Few subjects are really tough, which we need to give lot of time to understand. They conduct two exams every month which they call continuous assessment test. And those eho are absent , they are suppose to attend sat exams with different portion. These marks along with seminar air assignment are considered as internals. And at the end of the semsater we have sem exams for which we need to study entire sem portions. We will egt study holiday around 10 days before sem exams. For semester exams we need to pay semester fees which is 600 per subjects. There are around 50 faculties per department.

Interview Experience

5

Yes I got the admission through management quota and in which we have to attend a lot of process to get the admission. First and formers we need to fill the application form which we have to pay around Rs 1000 and we can fill the application form once it is done we will get an email which has the details regarding the MCQ test where we have to be throw with the 12th science and maths concept along with English and if you aptitude questions so these questions will be basics not tough like JEE mains we can easily clear it once UP basic concepts are throw and strong and one sweet clear the test we need to attend the personal interview so that will also be indicated using the mail the in the interview it is very important communication skill and the only check for those I was asked to talk on a topic for 2 minutes and my topic was what is a difference between the Sport cricket and the games conducted in Olympics and I was confident enough I had one thought on opinion about that particular topic and it was easy for me to clear that interview and where this place tell me about yourself why did you choose this course and basic questions with you just wanted to answer what about this classes in your mind instead of giving a prepared and artificial answers.

Night Life

5

I am a hostel I really like the infrastructure of the college because during the night time it feels very beautiful and the night views are just to wonderful pending my night as a hostel is a wonderful thing I get a lot of time to enjoy with my friends as my college is more of green . As I am also a sports person the sports complex provides in facility to play the game and improve ourself during the evening time the after the college ends and for gym we need to pay some amounts for the students to use the equipments in the gym and rest of the sports equipments are free to use we can use the place provided for respective games to improve our skills in the respective games. Even the cafeteria are open during the night times so those who dis like foods in mess they can use the cafeteria to eat but we need to pay for the food in cafeteria's there are lot of hang outstasis in my college so inside there is a clock tower and fountain which look extreamly the beautiful .

Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
