Course Curriculum Overview

3

Aerospace Engineering is underrated course not many students get into it. And for the upcoming generation this course is going to be big takedown on the future industries. I prepare for my university exam and as well as gate exam to get placed in a good college for my masters. The frequency of exam timing is not good, in the internals they conduct 2 subjects exam in a day which is little difficult to study. And for the final exam timings and date sheet is fine

Internships Opportunities

2

We get calls and emails from various companies for paid internships where we have to pay and get courses recently i got call from drona aviation they asked 15000rs for two months of study and they will provide a drone for personal training and gathering knowledge from it. Internships as far i know college provides so many but maximum of them are paid where we have to pay

Placement Experience

2

I am from 3rd sem so i don't know more about the placement but as far i know students become eligible from 5th sem. One of my friends sameer from computer science branch recently got a placement of 4lpa he didn't take the placement because i was too less.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 2,47,000 rupees per year. I have chosen the hostel facilities so my annual fees is ?2,47,000 course fees itself i am from the management by giving dsat (Campus Exam) i get 90000 rupees scholarship from college which add up to ?3,37,000

Campus Life

4

I love the campus life it's so easy to socialise with other students the campus infrastructure is good students on the free time often visit lake side view or the canteen area where we get good facilities of food and all. Club activities are also fine once a year they conduct activities one of them of taranga, we had fun like in dj night, singing, dancing, fashion shows this so fascinating. Our college has virtuous books in the library and there is not one library each block has one library. Sports events are also good i have participated in those and won too. There areso many student run social groups clubs and all like from my branch our seniors has run a club alatus

Hostel Facilities

3

I have rented a house near the university like 4 kms far in a town called harohalli. I used to travel to college with bike or sometimes with auto which take 20rs from bus stand to college. I give 8000rs rent for a month. Food i make by my own and water facilities are there nearby we get a can of water for 5rs

Admission

I choose this college because as far I researched i got to know Dayananda sagar is good for engineering and this is placed in Bangalore so it is easy for the industrial visits. This is point i like about the college location. The core industries like isro, drdo, hal is situated in Bangalore. I have registered in two colleges of Bangalore one of them was Jain university where I didn't qualify their exam so that's the reason i choose the other college.

Faculty

4

Ratio between the faculties and students is like 3:9. I like one faculty from my aerospace branch his name is harish he is so good with the problems and issues related with the academic field On the other side i didn't like a faculty his name is prasant he is so arrogant he doesn't like to answer us. In a academic year our college conduct 3 exam 2 exam for the internals and other one for the finals. And they conduct another exam for those who have failed in internals to increase internal marks.

Interview Experience

3

As i told i am from 3rd sem i haven't tried these all things. But in future i am planning for these interviews and more focus on aviation studies like drona aviation course or rent course from udemy. That's all

Night Life

4

As i don't live in hostel so i don't know more about the night life in campus. I know about the public area like gym they got all the equipment for fatloss and cardio. I have mentioned about the library in previous slide. Closing time for gym in 10:00 pm and for hostel it is 10:30 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
