What Students Say

Dislikes

Teacher at NIET are not qualified and with no experience
Infrastructure is too poor worst than that of government hospital
There is no such thing as campus life and satisfaction in any aspect

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is not of any relevance one can thing of ,In 1st the subject with relevance would be Maths, Physics and Electrical thats all and for irrelevant would be Constitution of India, Design Thinking, Indian traditional

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for 1st year is1.8L highest of all the college of knowledge park and fee structure is available on their website and for that of hostel is 1.4L for 3 seater hostel room with common bathroom and too much restrictions and poor facilities compared to that of other private hostel for cheaper price

Campus Life

If you take admission in this college forget about self satisfaction all you have is just college which is school where you have to go each and everyday for the sake of 85% attendance from 9:30 to 4:30 even Saturday is a working day and there no social aspects

Hostel Facilities

As far as things goes for hostel facility they don't have any facilities and compared to outside private hostel which are much cheaper than the hostel one's and with lot of facilities like bus service and breakfast at the college

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Admission

I was thrown in this college because AKTU councelling instead I was aiming for AKGEC my rank was 1.6L while that person next to me in college is 4.5L .Every thing in this college is worst infrastructure, Course, Curriculum even there is no freshers party in this college

Faculty

I’ve noticed that the overall experience in the course could be improved in several areas. The course content seems to lack depth in certain critical topics, and many important concepts are not covered comprehensively. It feels like the material is rushed, leaving students with gaps in their understanding.

Night Life

For nightlife if you want you would have no means possible this college doesn't think about it's students they just want their money cafeteria is a nightmare and for college ground it is as small as public park with labour living in it

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always . Also there is no fest in NIET and the few small ones are boring and waste of time....Read More
