I have positive remarks only for my college because the college has everything. College is much better than the colleges present in nearby areas.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of the Bachelor of Arts(Geography) is a 3 years degree program that is pursued after intermediate and covers subjects such as Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer aided mapping, Spatial Analysis, etc.

Events are organized in college Bengali Language day, Janmashtami, Rabindra Jayanti, Shri Ramakrishna Jayanti, Birthday of Netaji, Swami Vivekanand Birthday celebration, Christmas day celebration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college has always been very cost-effective and feasible for the students because the total fee of the college goes around to the rupees 13000 for the whole course.

Vivekanand Merit cum Means Scholarship, Talent support program, Samajik Suraksha Yojna, Nabanna Scholarship, National Scholarship Program- these are some government schemes to provide financial aids to the students and this can be availed by applying and coordinating with the college administration.

The college has NCC and NSS division, Library, Computer Laboratory, Internet Connectivity, Virtual Classroom, Alumni Association, Guidance and Career Counseling Cell, and computer training center which provides the discipline and necessary education for the all-around development for the students.

Admission

I applied online at the college online admission portal and then I saw my name in the merit list after coming to the merit list. I submitted the fees and then submitted my documents after the commencement of the first semester.

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love to read English and it's easy for me so that's why I choose it. There are a total of 50 students in this course. Our teachers are very helpful and talented and also support us. We have 2 semesters after 6 months in 1 year. Exams are comfortable for the students who study the subject. It is difficult for those who do not study.

You must pass the minimum hs for the course. Form fillup the required H.S. Result Birth Certificate, and Xerox of some urgent documents. We paid the course fee in 1560. We were given 5 days to fill up the application form. Then we had to go to college on a specific date for document verification.
