NMC created an new CBME curriculum from 2019batch onwards,This will help us in real life to communicate with patients in a respectful and an emphatic manner. The curriculum also includes Self directed learning and Small group discussion for improving the subject proper and in depth. Also there will be seminar and case presentation which improves our self confidence,that useful in viva voce examination There will monthly one internal per subject.Initially it was tough and once we consistent in reading it will help us to go through easily in University exams.

After completing 4 years, the final year will be the internship lasts for one year with stipend of 27,000per month.There will be good training and learning experiences throughout the internship.Will have opportunities to do studies with respect to each department Postings we are going.

The college was super and academically well equipped. Recently new academic block was constructed well.The professor of all departments are well educated and our academic performance also will be good as joining to this college.I belongs to 7.5% reservation government quota,so I need not to pay college fees and hostel fees also.My batchmates pay hostel fees per year approximately 50,000. And tution fees for 1st year 13,500, for 2nd year 9,500 and slight increase in upcoming years. Total fee costs approximately 45,000 for whole course.And one year internship is present, stipend will be 27,000. There is community scholarship also available every year. Recently one more academic block was constructed and The college infrastructure has well established and well equipped with laboratory facilities.There is toilet and drinking water facilities also available and of good hygiene.The library posses all books of international edition for all subjects and MCQ question banks for pg preparation are also available.The environment around the library and the college also so peaceful.There is canteen and Student cooperative Stores also available and of good condition.There will yearly 2-3cultural events are conducted.like sports day may be intra or inter College fest, and artbeat signifies extracurricular activities and one more Tamil Mandram gives importance to Tamil language also.and SPM department conducts frequent programs in relation to world health day, Microbiology department conducts prevents Antimicrobial resistance program includes poster, drawing, rangoli and healcathon,etc are conducted.

The hostel was good and room facilities are 3 members per room.Andveach person have one cot,fan table and cupboard.The bathroom are clean and daily maintained.The meal available in hostel are really good and hygienic.Non-veg also available 3-4 days in a week.some menu includes chicken biryani,Masal dosa, Chicken fried rice and veg meals.Registration process needs call letter and basic details of own.may ask to pay 20,000at time of admission and return it after completion.

I choose directly the coimbatore medical College,as it holds high ranking, over Thanjavur medical College and Madurai medical College.This prestigious institute (CMC)helpful in clinical practice as more cases are come daily OPD. The teaching faculties are well versed in subject and have more experience.The admission process is through counseling from All India quota or Govt quota.The eligibility includes Pass the Neet exam and the cutoffs for CMC will be over 600-650 plus marks needed.

The faculty -student ratio in unit wise per 6 students there will be one chief and 2-3assistant professors are there.And recently NMC has started mentor -mentee program in which one faculty per one student in which the emotional and academic difficulties faced by the student are opened up.The faculties are feel free and easily to approach. They available at everytime we needs and rectify and clarify the doubts and motivate us.Some faculties include Dr.Savitri Mam,Dr.kalyani Mam,Dr.Geetha Mam and Dr.Nandhini Mam and Dr.Arun and udhaya Sir,Dr Thenmozhi mam and etc,etc. The exam pattern will be one semester per year,and there will be internal assessment both theory and practical.Theory exams are moderately tough but able to pass,and the practical exams also easily to pass but needs more and more clinical knowledge and practice.requires frequent case presentation in clinical postings.The CBME curriculum good to evolve as an good physician both in communication and clinical practices.

After the day of classes ends sometimes hangs out on the canteen and have fun times. Favourite hangout spots always will be the hostel room with friends.weekend cinema with friends in hostel gives mental freshness.There is gym available in hostel and useful.The famous hangout places outside the campus will be Isha yoga centre,Aaliyar dam, Maruthamalai murgan temple and kovai kutralam,etc.The hostel intimings are bad, within 6.30we have to be inside the hostel.
