Evaluating the academic excellence and campus life at University of calicut

The syllabus covers all the aspects of statistical concepts and it include practical exams which include R programms which is use3d in data analysis and final semester project also help us to improve our knowledge on statistics, we can also add online courses which are we done during the years to improve over credit score, and in 3rd semester we can study one paper other on other department as a open elective course which help us to improve our knowledge other than statistics , and workshops, seminars will conduct which will improve our knowldege exam are conducted every six months and exams are not much diificult, valuation are done strictly . we get a 1 week of study leave for every semester exams.

For admission we had to pay nearly about 5000 which include tution fee for first year and P.T.A fund and Tax and 800 rupees for exam per semester and for second year we need to pay abot 4000 rupees as tution fee the fee is increasing yealry about 5% and exam fee is also increasing for next academic year. for OBH,SC,ST students get Egrant scholarships but we need to pay the tution fee and exam fee the amount will be credited to bank account after some times, but addition to E grants we get NSP scholarships, for hostel students who are SC,ST,OBH only need to pay about 3450 as hostel admission fee the monthly fee and hostel fee need not be pay the scholarship will cover these expenses but who doesnot have scholarship the had to pay monthly rent of 120 rupees and mess fee around 2000 had to pay for hostel students

There will be national seminars yearly on the topics related to every subjects, ther will be national level seminars also and workshops on different topics are held , and every year there will bw one week arts festivalnd snd sports eventt which hwlp us to improve our extra caricular activites, there are one common library which have a wide variety of books on all the subjects and a department library which have plenty of books in statistics, and there are social groups of different people and political parties.

Hostel facilities are good but not that much better. There are single rooms and shring room available. Rooms are decent and room have a bed , table and chair but we can modify our room with what we have. The room rent are very low 120 rupees is the rent for a month. The message food is good. The hostel is inside the campus so it is easy for accessing the campus. For students having scholarship, SC ,ST ,OBH students didnot need to pay mess fee and hostel room rent. The meal quality is good but not amazing.

Dr Jayakumar sir is well knowledged person and Dr Krishnarani miss is very good faculty for teaching student, Dr DIleep kumar sir have the advance knowledge on technologies and very efficient in teaching students . There are 26 students and 5 faculties , every faculties are very efficient in teaching. There are 4 semesters every semester exam is not that much difficult we can easily pass all the semester exam

There is no group discussion and interview the written test have questions on statistics that are in degree level the questions are mainly on the degree level papaer which are in omr sheet having multiple options and have negative mark

The campus is 24 hour open and also the hostels are so students will gather at the student trap at almost every time and there is a mini park which is called areena there also the students gather and spend their memorable times, there is gym which will be open till 8 pm. The stadium also there where people gather most of the times. There is a learning space near library where people comes and study which have better seating and learning facilities. Campus cafe , student trap , stadium ,areena , University park, circle , library are the most fames place where people hangout. The university park open at 4pm and closes at 6 pm . University canteen open at 8 am and closes at 7 pm.
