What Students Say

Likes

Good infrastructure and lab facilities with great staffs and faculties
Gives a decent amount of time for sports as well some cultural activities

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is from a major company called TCS which provides most of the jobs for freshers these days. The difficulties of the exams conducted in our university is quite high. The curriculum is really well prepared for the real world application and further academic pursuits

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 735000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 8th semester students are eligible for campus placements and there are placement training offered in our college in the last semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, GOOGLE, AMAZON, IBM and many more MNC are visiting our college for recruitments. The highest package so far is 56LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fo the first year we have to pay an sum of 102000rs as a fee for the 1st semester and for the 2nd semester it is 86000 including the student welfare charges. This 86000 is fixed fee for all the upcoming semesters

Campus Life

The campus life is decent, there is alot of club like RCS and etc....there is alot books available in the library and the library is equipped with alot of e-books.Each and every class has projector facilities.Sports has an equal amount of importance

Admission

I chose this college because it was a prestigious deemed University and the fees waste very reasonable when compared to other universities like VIT.The admission is based on 2 streams, one is based only on the class 12 marks and the other stream is based on 50% of class 12 marks and 50% of JEE marks. I got admission through the first stream as my mark was pretty decent.

Faculty

The faculties are extremely talented and each and every faulty has an experience above 10yrs which is great . faculty and student relationship is great.i liked my basic electrical engineering faculty his name is dr Radhakrishnan. There will be three internal assessment and from that best two will be considered for the final internals which will be combined with the end semester exam marks.

Night Life

There is a canteen which provides good food and snacks.campus timing is from morning 8.30 to evening 7.30.There are no hangout places to expect in and around the campus. But to be considered overall it's great

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
