Likes

Exams should be reduced due to more exams we cannot concentrate on career
Kingston college is very good in teaching and staffs are very friendly
Quality of the college is really good eco friendly

Lack of exams and more pressure on exams
Extra study hour and extra classes after college college hours

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is recommended by my friends and family members and I heard more about this course.the exam timing is three hours for semester.classes should be more advance and lab should be more advanced

Placement Experience

Only the seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements.thier is no count for companies visited and one person can have many offers no limitations.highest package got is 400000 per annum.Joining VIT for higher studies

One lack fees for one year and and it is four year course. Tuition fees is free of cost no cost is free for tuition.for BC 50,000 fees for andhara people 100000.for andhra fees 100000 because of management

Pongal celebration and diwali celebration festivals are held in our college along with semester.the range and accessibility of books and journals avilable in library.many sports like cricket, volleyball, coco ,kabadi is held in our college

I have applied for VIT and in Andhra I have cleared exams and got 4 admissions in four colleges .But my dad said to try in VIT and Kingston.in vit i lost rank and so finnally I joined In kingston college

Faculty is really Friendly with us and any doubts is cleared after class hours also.kali selvi mam she is very friendly and supportive staff in our college.and yasima mam is good teaching faculty.samundeswari mam I didn't like her

Interview Experience

The topics for group discussion is not given in before it is as per the drive which take place.the admission process is not specific it is based on cutoff marks.we prepare for this as per the drive which takes place

Night Life

Their is no GYM provided by our college, library facilities is provided.campus timings are Nine to four thirty.and hostel timing is 9. to 6 .after six no one should be outside .Thier is no visiting places in our college much

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The faculty were very much friendly and very knowledgeable in practical teaching
The Lab facilities is very good for the students to improve the coding knowledge.
The time they are providing to study for exams is nice

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas.My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

I like here incubation lab because I learn lot from the lab and then they identify students ideas and provide fund also

I don't like food because that food and all not eaten in my life
I don't like the hostel because they gave a common bathroom for us
I don't like the mess because it was uncleaned

Find your right path from someone's journey experience

I had applied to three colleges in Vellore the first preference is VIT Vellore institute of technology, and the next Thanthai Periyar Government College Of Engineering and lastly Kingston Engineering College which is nearer to my home. I am not able to join VIT because the course fees are too high for 4 years nearly 3.5 lakhs per year which is not affordable to my parents, And the reason the next college is seats are filled for BE Electronics and communication engineering which I preferred. so finally I joined Kingston engineering college. I availed OBC quota for my admission to Kingston Engineering College. The Admission criteria for B.E ECE is one must complete HSC or 12 the grade in any state of India with a minimum of 65% in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and age should be above 18 years.
