What Students Say

Likes

The course and curriculum is quite good here and also they provide very good learning environment for the students. The college is very good at academics that makes it different from the other AKTU colleges.
The campus is lush green and eco friendly as well as well maintained. There are two campus of G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management and in the second campus the facilities of centralized AC is also available.
The faculties are quite good and supportive ans they will solve your doubts even after the lecture is concluded. They are always ready to support and help students and provide them a proper learning environment.

Dislikes

Although the campus is well maintained, this is so small if we talk about the college life. There are not my places to walk around in the campus. The main ground of the campus is also small so at the events there are a lot of mob.
The 9 to 5 shedule is quite hectic for us. As we don't get enough time to hangout outside due to academic pressure. They should provide students proper live and let them explore so that they may upgrade their social and mental skills.
The availablity of railway station is quite a concern also. As some students are 700 - 800 km away from their home town, most affordable vehicle is train. We have to go to ghaziabad or new delhi to catch up the train.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest, the course curriculum is outdated. There's a proper need of rearrange the study curriculum and also provide some industry relevant subjects so that the students may get the proper idea of their future and learn skills accordingly.

Internships Opportunities

The intership oppertunities are also provided in this college. The placement team also inform us about hackathon and tech event which are taking place. We have to make good projects for internship and to be noticed.

Placement Experience

The placement is quite good here for the top 20% of the students. The students are eligible for their placements in the 3rd year of their college and yeah some good companies visit this college and make good offer and on the other hand mass recruiters are also visit here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 1st year is 161000? and for the next three years is 151000. For the scholarship purpose the UP government scholarship is available for the students who full fill the scholarship eligibility criteria.

Campus Life

The campus life is not so good here. We are engaged in academics, assignments, projects, viva, research, attendance, presentation and other activities. So we don't get enough chance to live our campus life and explore more.

Admission

As my JEE rank was not good enough so I preferes this college over other colleges of NCR. I heard about it's placement in recent years through social media that was quite satisfactory at my rank so I choose this college over the other colleges.

Faculty

The faculties are quite good and supportive. They also provide proper learning environment for the students and give them opportunities to grow. There are 3 internals test which is called ST1, ST2 and PUT exams. The internal marks are provided by these exams.

Night Life

The nightlife is better around this area. There are a lot of places here to hangout with friends. There's also stationary, restuarants, hospitals, markets within 1 km of range so it's a good thing about connectivity.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

A honest review about NIET(fees, internship,faculties,placements,and everything you need to know before joining)

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

Likes

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.
