Course Curriculum Overview
My interest in computers is the reason I took this course, the course has diverse topics like DSA, Algorithms, etc which are beneficial to build the fundamentals of any SDE, still there are many subjects which are taught to us that are irrelevant to our field, it creates pressure on the students.
Internships Opportunities
For internships, companies send emails to students for registration, and after that there are rounds held and the students clearing all rounds are selected. CISCO offered intership in our college with a stipend of 98 thousand rupees.
Placement Experience
The students can apply for internships from third year, companies liks CISCO and Goldman Sachs offered intership opportunities in our college. The average package for CSE is about 16lac per annum. My plan is to also get a good placement from my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
For each year, the academic fees along with hostel fees is around 5lac a year, and around 20lac for the whole course. There is a management quota too in our college. For every btech degree in our college the fees is same. The Hostel fees is too much making the whole course expensive
Campus Life
The campus life here at JIIT is decent, the coding culture among the students is a key aspect which ensures that students stay updated and they keep learning about new things regularly. Sports in our college is given less priority which can be disappointing for many students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are overpriced very much, not much facilities are available for students, the air conditioner in our rooms only work at night for a few hours only. The mess food is pretty average and many students prefer not to eat in the mess.
Admission
I applied to all the colleges which considers the JEE mains score, after considering all options, I chose JIIT as it is a well reputed college in Noida. It considers JEE Mains score as well as 12th class board score for admission.
Faculty
There are enough faculty for all the students in the college, some teachers are really friendly and some not so much. There are three exams taking place in our college named T1 T2 and T3, apart from that there are lab tests also.
Night Life
Late night life is non existent in our college, there are no night cafes where the students can satisfy their mid night cravings. There is gym for students who opted for hostel. There is also un underground library of 2 floors.
