My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level

Affordable College With a Peaceful Environment

I chose this college mainly because the fee was affordable and the campus felt more comfortable than the other options I applied for. I got offers from a few colleges, but either the atmosphere didn’t feel right or the costs were higher. The admission process here was simple—based on 12th marks, with basic counselling and document checks. The cutoff was reasonable and the whole process was quick and hassle-free....Read More

I choose my college over other coz i heard that there is the better environment than others. specially for the freshers that came to our college there is no concept of ragging and bully which is the major point. Apart from this as in other colleges teacher didnt take pain for the syllabus as well as if the students is present or not but in out college all the faculty memebers are fully responsible. The eligibility process of our college is min 70% is required in 12th exam and student must opt (PCM) i.e pysics ,chemistry and maths if he/she wants to opt the enginnering course. there was no as such registeration fees....Read More

Actually the real thing is -- you can go to whatever college you want but in the end it's you and your hardwork/smart work which gets you placed in the companies. But the core thing which I lacked to know was that the companies approach college on the basis of their tier. But over-all the basis needed for a students start in an industry can be provided anywhere so I chose this college to kick start my career....Read More
