My Thoughts on College

1. The main reason to choose the course is that there is scope in CS , and I think coding really interesting subject . 2. It does not really prepare for real world because even if you give a good curriculum but it should be taught properly, and the college is lacking in that . 3. I think they should remove some subject that are really unnecessary for the course like mechanical workshop for computer science students . They should improve teaching for Coding as its the main aspect in the course. 4. The frequency of exam is okay and manageable by students , and talking about difficulty it is little harder compared to their teaching

1. Companies like infosys , TCS, wipro , comes in college to offer internships and many other companies also comes with internship offer but without any stipend . 2. projects like apps for different tasks , websites for companies

1. Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester. 2. Many companies have visited our college like Apple, Google, Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys, TCS. 3. The highest package in the college was of 58LPA but that was also for only time in the history, and average package is of 6LPA 4. Percentage for placement for my course is about 80-85% 5. After the degree i am thinking to start a startup

For the First year the Fees is 280000 and it increases by 10% every year . We have to pay half fee in 1st semester and half fee in next semester. Their is no scholarship but EWS option in that students who apply for EWS have to maintain CGPA which was scored in 1st semester for complete 4yrs , if they score little less than that EWS scholarship will be discarded and they have to pay whole fee

1. There an annual fest in the college called Persona which generally held in month of February. 2. Their are many books available in the college library it is above 5000 books ,and of all subjects 3. In classrooms only a projector is provided in name of technology , no other facility are provided 4. There are sports and extracurricular activities every week and there is also a inter college sports meet every year in college in which every student can participate. 5. Yes there are many clubs runned by students for coding , management, gaming, etc, and they help students to socialise with others

1. There is not many faculties provided in the room . Hot water is provided which is good but their is wash basin to wash utensils, and no proper bathrooms to wash clothes, and can not use kettle and iron in rooms. 2. Meal quality is not good , too oily food and no good taste , menu is not good too literally every curry tastes same and daily Daal and Rice . 3. The registration process for hostel is very hectic and talking about affordability , it is not affordable atoll , if we take flats or pg it is in half price of the hostel fee

1. As I am from Maharashtra I applied for cap round by MHT-CET and was got my seact confirmed in two Colleges of DY Patil but I choose MIT because the course I wanted was not offered their ,and in addition their campus environment is not good. 2. No , I didn't get any rejection from any college , instead I didn't wanted to take admission in those college. 3. Literally there is eligibility criteria for admission , anyone can get admission here, by just applying for the college

1. The faculty to student ratio is good , but there is too many students for the same course in same college and that can affect the placements . Faculty are too cooperative and friendly, if student doesn't understand any comcept teachers provide one-on-one doubt solving . 2. My class teacher Prof. Amol Deore are one of the best teacher in our college, his way of teaching is very easy to understand and very good. The best faculty are of physics and maths . 3. I don't like the whole faculty of Programming language because the don't teach properly, as my course is computer science programming language is the most important thing for us , and no faculty teaches it properly they just provide notes and say you read it and does not provide complete information about the subject . 4. We have three exams in a sem , TA-1 TA-2 and End Sem , they are moderate exams but the jury they conduct for programming language are really tough as compared to their teaching , because of that students lack in coding and many of them fails . I don't think few subject in the course curriculum are important.

1. There is gym facility provided in college and it is good , the equipments in gym are in good condition but the drawback is their timings for gym is only 45 min in whole day 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm which is not manageable by most of students . And talking about cafeteria it is too expensive to eat and does not have good taste to their food. Library is good their is no problem with it. 2. Hostel in timing is okay like till 9.45pm you should be in the hostel . 3. The famous hangout places in our college is tuck shop and riverside . Yes the locality is safe to roam around at night
