Remarks

It is doing well but there is a huge scope for improvement on almost all sectors of the college. Overall the atmosphere is healthy and lively. One can both learn and enjoy at the same time not just with respect to academics but overall growth as an individual.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is fine but as things are changing with such fast pace so the course curriculum must change dynamically. Also, students must be made to learn in more practical manner and not the old school way. There should be more competitive coding platform available.

Internships Opportunities

No, this is a disappointing thing but gradually they are trying to change and encourage more and more students to go for internship so that overall quality of knowledge can improve. As a result this will give them better placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunity are very good at our college. Our training and placement cell works just fine under our chief head and he managed to bring many great companies. Almost 80 to 85 % students get placed with average of 3-4 lack per annum. And there are companies like VM ware which visit our campus.

College Events

3.5

There are various events like Aakshank , Invento and various NSS events. This are organisation like CSI for updating students with recently used technology. Our cultural fest is Aakshank which is a 4 days event consisting of dance, drama, singing, rock band performance, fashion shows as day event and star night and she night as night event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When our batch entered the fee was feasible and genuine but gradually we all can feel the sense a corruption among administration and they have increased fees of college and hostels significantly even though there have been no as such development or improvements in any sense. This is biggest loop hole of our college. It is a self financed government college so there is too much corruption and politics involved which can be highly irritating and heart breaking for students. We can't fight it, we have to learn to deal with it no matter how much you hate it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarship on bases on students merit as well as category they belong to. Also, scholarship for minority is available. There are also loan facility available for students who have financial problems.

Campus Life

3.5

As far as other curriculum activities are concerned they is a sports club available at University level for not college level where one has to give and pass the trials in order to join them. Badminton, football, throw ball, chess, basketball and other indoor and outdoor games are available.

Hostel Facilities

3

The planning is very good but the quality of building is slightly poor. We live in new buildinb but a punch on wall in enough to break down the plaster but its fine since it's a government building. The facilities are not good, we really have to fight for every single thing that we have and it is completely on mood of our warden and then there is always biasness for tender passing for various things and students therefore does not fiary receive services for which they paid.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college conducts alumi meet and also our alumni and senior students help the college to bring more and more companies to the college. But, since our college is not that old therefore help is limited as they have not yet been to the most influential position yet.

Exam Structure

There are overall 8 SEM containing 40 courses. In a single semester we have 3 mid semester exams consisting of 20 marks per subject per test. Best two out of three are evaluated and one final examination of 60 marks is conducted. This is followed by vivas both internal and external.

Admission

There were two evaluation factors - first was the result of JEE mains and the other was the marks attained in 12th boards. All students were evaluated based on these two factors and assigned a rank. There were cutoff for different branches and categories. There were 2-3 counseling rounds after which admission was confirmed.

Faculty

3

One thing all college students must realise it that from now on they have to get into the practice of self learning and according to me whenever they are stuck and have doubts they should consult faculty and for that we should have highly qualified faculty which our college lack as a whole. There are some absolutely fabulous teacher's but they aren't enough for so many students.

Placement Experience:

Placements in college are quite good if we compare them with other similar state government engineering colleges. It has a separate TPO (training and placement office) cell which helps students in their placements. Some quite good companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest being 11 LPA. Core competencies the lowest 3.5 LPA salary offered in IT sector companies. Reliance, LNT, Infosys were the top recruiters. Every year students go for internships in BHEL NTPC etc. Companies ( around 30%) Other 70% students go for local transmission plant as the internship is compulsory for everyone. Students organize cultural activities.
