Likes

the college provides exposure to many different subjects in all categories
The quality of teaching and the staff is also up to the mark
The infrastructure in also decent but it can be better

Dislikes

there is a very limited practical exposure to the arts students
the college also lacks in digital tools and digital gadgets
There must be some kind of practical activity for all fields of students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good many things can be learnt from the course we can find a lot of case studies and projects in the curriculum which again is a bonus point for our practical knowledge for ourselves.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Till now i have not got any internship opportunities in the college as we dont have the internship part in the first semester , in the 3r or 5th semester we will get the internship that will obviously be unpaid

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees was around 8000 for me including all the charges , first semester fees and all other fees. ST/SC students had to pay a little less than me as i fall in the unreserved category. A Rs 80000 scholarship is available for the reserved category student

Campus Life

The campus life of our college is very good There are a lot of activities that happens in the college at regular interval of times many fests and literature activies goes around the college at most of the times

Admission

Actually this year the admission process was a little weird and altough after getting 91% in the boards , i didn't get seat in the other college Thats why i chose this college over the others admission process was all guided by a govt portal

Faculty

The faculty members of the college are very good in their fields. All are well in their own field of study. There is a good number of faculty members in the college for the students Political Science has one of the best faculty members and the Commerce block is the worse

Night Life

I dont know much about the night life as i live outside the college permises but after college hours the badminton court is open tu play and many students also goes on playing football till 6-7 Pm in the evening

If you are opting for a cheap college with quality education then our college is just for you. The attitude of the faculty and the helpfulness of the Vice Chancellor also the principal is very impressive. All of the students take part in extra curricular activities but also serious towards their studies which makes our college the best college in north eastern states.

For admission, anyone who has passed his/her 10+2 in any stream can apply by going to the online admission portal(website) but at the time of mine, there was no such facility so We use to go college and apply directly by filling the form(paper-based).

Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.

Improvement in Sports activities needed

I applied for EFLU (Shillong Campus), Central University of Karnataka, Tezpur University, Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University and some of their affiliated colleges like Darrang College, DHSK College and many more. I chose this college among others cause this college is in middle assam which is more safe than other parts and also have a great environment in the campus and also the college is good , and the people in it .
