Likes

Most important thing is it is one of the reputed college in India
One of the top college in the North Karnataka
The teaching staff of our branch is very well and every one are well experienced

Dislikes

Water facility required to every branch corridor
As it is old college class room fans and other equipments need to change
Lab facility need to change and need to install new machines and maintain clean environment

Course Curriculum Overview

As i got the seat in college initially i am unaware of the curriculam and branches in the college but later after the year i came to know that i got best branch in the college I,e MECHANICAL BRANCH The teaching method of staff is well mannerd because as there are well good experinced staff

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year fees was the 32000/- as I got the seat under the OBC and 371J special category. Additionally exam fees and other compulsory charges are appiled around 10000/- yearly. Other than me my batchments use to pay 60k yearly and some are around 1L-1.5L yearly depend on the category. I get scholarship of around 18k yearly from the Karnataka Govt SSP scholarship.

Campus Life

The first function held for us is Fresher party which they have conducted so well as it is introductory of the college and the main function is Tech fest which takes place one a year is well orgained which includes the sports and other valantier events taken by the students in which it leads to the courage in the students and boost the capability of students mindset. The accessibility of books are good in the college library

Admission

As it is one of the famous college in the India and the best part is it is near to the hometown and main thing is i get the special category qota where the fees will be less as it is under the 371J and the admission process went smoothly as i knew the process from one of my freind so it is cool.

Faculty

The faculty of our branch is so well experinced and good teaching staff we got there and the relation between us is so friendly and the teaching method of them is so clear to us which it helps in the clearing the exams effortlesly.

Night Life

The famous spot for the boys is our canteen where we chill a lot and the playground where we use to spend lot more with playing the volleyball and we use to celebrate the birthday parties there and most loveable moment is the night hangout with friends that to in the college fest and doing the dance with the large crowd that remembers a lot now

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

The college i go to

So basically the college which I am in very popular and very good back in the days people from other states used to come and study here and it was one of the good colleges in North Karnataka because the experience faculty was good and people had knowledge but now as we know the the stream computer science and other branches are booming and the AI is booming so the new faculty people need to catch up on it and the reason I couldn't go to other colleges is because of my ranking so get good result in your 12th and kcet n comedk due to which I couldn't go to other colleges...Read More
