What Students Say

Likes

what i liked from the campus is very less but if i have to mention is then their small but beautiful campus full of greenery all around with mind green all over the campus and the irrigation and modern technique they use for harvesting of the plants
they are more inclined towards safety and hygine all around
cafeteria is good in terms of all the things

Dislikes

the staffs of the college are rude and irresponsible towards their work
faculties are not supportive at all they can even yell at you
they can help students in raising their voice that they don't do and lot"'s of unnecesary school curiculum

Course Curriculum Overview

ACtually if to be true the cuurriculum is not good . IT ONLY PREPARES YOU FOR RECITING nothing other than it. curricuum is old not gold. they should change their teaching methodolgy and carriculu as well and improve it rathe than expecting students to get changed. Exams are same for who ever are from the affiliayted AKYU University.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 115603 per year

Placement Experience

i am first year studennt so i dont have muchh idea but our seniors said mostly companies for 3lpa visit the campus and do mass recruitment based on their interrst and all. and if u want to do something more then yeahh.

Fees and Financial Aid

yearly free structure of galgotias college of engineering along al the branches is same that is for the cureent session 24 is 115603 . But it can increase or decrease as they provided a sheet of 15 pages which we can say it was terms and condition's from the coolege mentioning that we have authority to decrease or increase the course fee during your wards ongoing course and moreover university also takes money for end semsester examinations that is fot this year is 7500 (univ: affiliated university: AKTU board). same for everyone no they don"t provide anyy kind of scholorship

Campus Life

they will hwld a freshrs party one university fest and small college cum games or clubs major is rotaract which is in eyes.classes are not advanced to be true they will teach you on school likke white board after taking hefty of money . thy are many clubs runne dby student council akl total iig 26

Hostel Facilities

+THEY WILL PROVIDE YOU A WARDROBE , BED OWN TABLE CHAIR WITH NO LAMP ,OWN PORTAND THAT'S IT OVER. MEAL IS 4 **** FIRST CUM FIRST SERVICE FOR HOSTELL GOOD IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR OTHER THAN COLLEG HOSTEL

Hostel Fee: INR 145000 per year

Admission

i didn't applied to other cooleges because i knew my condition. financial and in other terms as well.to appear for JEE Mains and get a percentile approx 90 and appear in the councelling of aktu. so this is the process and appear in physical reporting on scheduled

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good in college but the thing is the relation between the faculty and students is quite bad no connections and no support from both side . If you ask me the faculties whom i like clear BIG NO. Reason explained . we have undergone 5 exams in 5 months no time foe self anylazation.

Night Life

their is no favourate hang out spot becUSE it has campus size of 19 acre so you can thing what will ut be . no activities in nights. students only come and go no unwinding . so college life is big NOOOO

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
