Likes

the college environment is really good and its very green and very friendly and the weather abt the clg is very good
spacious environment so we can do practice for various event
various extra curricular events and groups in the college

Dislikes

too much monkeys in the college and it feels very uncomfortable
they shit everywhere in college and its make some places disgusting
cant eat or bring food wherever you want because of the monket

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculam and syllabus and te teaching methods are totally fine and ok but they are not up to the level but they are conducting various events and seminars for the well being of the students and trying their best to give the students the best they can

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees paid is abot 27,000 in the first year first semesterand its approximately 30,000 per semester and to be honest we didnt recieve any scholarship byt since i got in merit i got in government aided stream so half of my fees is paid by the goverment and thats why i pay 30,000 per semester but if u get in self finance stream you will be paying abot 60,000 per semester and there is not sports quota for sports studets and but they provide od for them and there is not a singe scholaship provided for students in sports but preference are given is u take part in sports like cricket , football, and other sports team that are available in college since im in defence and strategic studies i dont have any lad fees or anything like that but we do go for iv trip to many defence related sector

Campus Life

the campus life is not upto the mark since they dont conduct much cultural events compared to the other colleges in chennai and there are tooo many home guards and it feels like we r always being watch which is a good thing but it feels akward sometimes and the monkeys is the college is the worst problem and about sports, this college is not a sport friendly college its only friedly for some sports only like cricket,footbal ,etc.. and ncc in the collegeis the worst they literally rage students in the name of ncc and some students event have been injuried because of it but the college doesnt take any action regarding it

Admission

the reason i chose the college is this college stands 3rd in the defence and strategic studies course all over the nation, and the faculties in the college who teach defence are the best and well trained in the country and they have cleared net exam and are very friendly to approach

Faculty

most of the faculty member are talents and are very knowledegable and friendlly with students but some of them for the sake of showing strength as a faculty and not that much approchable and some are literally a good motivators and very helpfull its totally based on the de[artment taht your choosing

Night Life

there is no night life in the college since the college doesnt have any hostel, gym, cafeterias or any public area. and since it is a shift college all teh students leave the college by 6 or 7 itself.

Starting ug life

My collage full of nature covered, birds sound in after 6.00 pm I loved it. And college is like greenish and opposite site there is thindal murugan kovill this is so good
Fancy store and canteen also have in our college. Big sports ground also have in our college, hand ball was so good in our college we also celebrated 50th year celebration of college
Pongal celebration are celebrated highly like columbus and many games are there in pongal celebration in inside our college we are celebrated happily. Food also provided in our college

Dislikes

I didn't like that our staff keep test in lunch hours also . They strictly maintain the class always test , seminars
No western dress wear in our department I didn't like that chudi and pant full covered shall we want to wear in our college
No free hours given . Home work like scholl . I fill I am going to school

Course Curriculum Overview:

Surroundings are good. Exam timing 3 hours . And normal internal test is about one hour maximum one and half hour. Test are strictly maintain. Teaching in tamil can understand by students I think so . And ppt method need more in class . Staff to teach all the lessons and students sometimes take one part of lesson

My sweet college days!!

Likes

College environment was very neat and clean always.
The birds they kept at the front side campus were so pleasant and calm
Campus was large in size and comfortable

Dislikes

College management is very strict in handling students
College management allot less money as prize money for academic winners
Students should get pass even for 2 minutes late entry

Course Curriculum Overview:

The department of English not only offers good education but also so many values to lead our life. Faculties were so friendly in clearing students' doubts. There was personality development course to improve students' personality. Students had to choose any other subjects other than they are studying for sbi course. Due to this students learn about other subjects too.

The rigour of the course is very intense. The syllabus which is followed here is intense and rigorous. Its unique compared to the syllabus offered in other colleges of India.
Staff lore is very good in MSE. Most of the staffs encourage doubts and are also willing to have conversations with you. Faculties are knowledgeable and they know there stuff very well. They take much interests if you reach out to them through mail.
They provide a lot of guest lectures which gives us a lot of exposure and we get to know how economics works in the real life policy making sectors.

Dislikes

Theres no opportunities for sports and extra curricular activities. They don’t conduct any events rather it is done by putting our own money and by the efforts of the students only.
The campus is very small, and there are no proper areas for sports etc and also the canteen is very bad. It is super minimal.
If you want social life then this college is not the place, only the studious one survive here. Well you can still make friends here but then the college ‘itself’ does not provide any social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the course provides almost everything which is needed and available. This is not a normal economics course as it involves statistics,python, core math and also dives into data science. This allows the students to explore various subjects and can choose which is their best fileld. The curriculum overall is very rigorous and intense but you can crack it if you study regularly. About the frequencies of the examinations, we have 2 internal examinations and 1 end semester examination. I can guarantee that this course is super rigorous but im not sure if i would necessarily say that the course is "practical" and it helps us in the real word. I cannot comment on the practicality of the courses. The exams are not super difficult and its moderate. Getting more than 90% can be challenging although clearing the paper won't be an impossible task.

Peaceful atmosphere where we can concentrate and study

Dislikes

The fees structure of the college is little high
They do not provide any study material to prepare ourself for semester exams
They do not take us for a long trip to make our mind feel fresh
