Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is good the basic curriculum follows UGC pattern, end semester test occur after every five or six months and mid semester test occur after every month or 1.5 months... Curriculum is good and teaching methods are basic

Internships Opportunities

3

IBM takes our classes and they gurantee us with 100% placement rate.... As of now the placement records are not being released as the University is recently established but the internship and industry exposure is guaranteed to students... They have 2.5 years of teaching plan and 1.5 years of industry exposure and internships plan ... Many bootcamps occur and renowned personalities are called for lectures and teachings..

Fees and Financial Aid

160000 per year for IBM students with BTECH CSE Half payment for btech CSE core students Half payment after placement Scholarship for students who score good in first semester some quota may be available like concession for siblings and students with no father

Campus Life

5

Sports facilities are really good. Gyms are open most of the hours . Many boxing taekwondo events take place ... Sports quota is also available for students... Events take place on regular basis from lohri to dandiya and even south events take place which is really good. Many clubs are available for students like environment club coding clubs etc

Admission

KIET Ghaziabad was the college I was trying to apply for but getting in it was a bit difficult as I wasn't getting the stream I wanted... Also it was really hot and humid there and the campus size was very less... LTSU is much better in terms of space and social life.

Faculty

3

Faculty students relationship are good, the interaction is very good , the best faculties are of cse .... The exams occur every month.... Two mid semester test occur . The tests are average and end semester test are a bit tough but can be easily passed

Night Life

5

Library are good with coding books available and other PCMB books available... Hostel timings are till 8pm in the evening as of winters and 10pm till the summers evening... The campus timings are from 9am to 4pm with one hour lunch break... The campus area has a good walking space area and is very spacious

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
