Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course have all the concepts and chapters included. But those are not comprehensive compared to other colleges of chemical engineering in Maharashtra. Most of the concept taught are being niche and it's bit concerning but chemically department in vit is going to be closed soon and it proves discontinuity in culture.

Internships Opportunities

4

Various companies come to college for campus placement but the ratio of companies come to it department and core departments is the only thing to be worried of. Companies come to VIT for internship are numerous and it's good for knowledge

Placement Experience

3

From the 3rd year of college (that is 5th and 6th semester) companies come to College and students are eligible for campus placements. For chemical engineering department highest placement offered was 8lpa by emerson. While others companies haven't come due to recession. Fir Computer science department highest package offered was 35 lpa , while averaging to 13 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I admitted in 2020 , its fee for general category 184000 per year, While it was 106084 for obc category, moreover there's more relaxation in fees for categories like sc,st ,nt and pwd section. Now in 2025 fees has been increased to 192000 per year. College placement for CSE and IT department are very good averaging 12 lpa while for core department, placement haven't been fulfilled and it averaged nearly 6lpa.

Campus Life

5

There are 2 major cultural events like vishwakarandak and vishwotsav where vishwakarandak is being annual sports and cultural events where sports, dance, singing, poetry and various others competition take place While vishwotsav is cultural attires fest. There are various clubs and communities in Vit,Pune. And that's biggest strength of VIT. In library all the books of academis are available. Class rooms are fully functional and there are various laboratories available for every department. Department like SwD focus on social activities

Admission

1) location of college and cultural advances lead me to chose vit pune over other colleges in Maharashtra. 2) VIT was arguably 3rd best college for chemical engineering in Maharashtra in the times which lead me to chose it over other colleges. 3) patterns of exam in vit , make students proficient for interview culture and group discussion activities.

Faculty

4

There are numerous faculty members with their respective skills and expertise in VIT. F for chemical engineering department students to teachers ratio is nearly 20:1 , which make teachers and students close and co-ordinative. College have guardian faculty for every student and it make you to concentrate on students aim and growth

Night Life

1

Night life in college isn't that experiencing and enchanting. Night life is only available for college clubs and event preparation and for Events still 10 pm. On regular days college is open till 8 pm so there's no proper nightlife in college.
