Remarks

The college is the best college to study our graduation because the college has enough activities and facilities to mould us into a new human being we can say that we would be totally changed after leaving the college. One another thing is that u may hate the college during your course of study but when you pass out of the college u will miss the college very much and we would dream about studying in that college once more

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum followed by the college is totally outdated the course which i study still teaches basic computer skills like word etc that should have beem removed years ago. Another problem of the curriculum is that it never allows the students to think out of the box or do something creatively it just wants the students to mug up the books and vomit it out in the exams to score marks.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide us with any internship. Internships are great opportunities to develop our skill and also to learn many more skills but the college or the departments never provide any internships.

Placement Experience

1

There are no placements of job opportunities provided by the college. basically after graduation their is no help from the college to get a job or any other placement opportunities. the only help done by the college is the job fairs conducted in the college that cannot be considered because it is not exclusive for the college students and the college only provides a space to conduct the job fair.

College Events

4.5

The main events conducted are the union inauguration, sports day, arts days and the department days that are conducted by each department of the college. sports day would last for maximum 2 days same with ares day and all other celebrations like onam or Christmas would end in day or half a day

Fee Structure And Facilities

In our college their are two types of courses Aided and self financing courses. in aided courses the students need not have to pay any fees their fees are paid by the government but in self financing colleges the fess should be remitted by the students usually the fees of the self financing courses are a little bit on the higher side.

Fees and Financial Aid

the college doesn't provide any type of scholar ships or loan facilities to the students however it provides e grants to the students in the reservation category. the students under SC,ST or OBC given e grants ie they would get rs 3000 or 3500 per month to remit their hostel fees and the students studying self financing courses with reservation do not need to pay their fees as their fees would be paid by the government or their fees would be reimbursed to them after the course completion

Campus Life

4.5

The extracurricular activities include sports day the sports days lasts for maximum of 2 days. The lab in our department is a total disaster, we were paying rs 10,000 every semester as lab fess and the lab facilities provieded not even worth 1000 the botany labs were just like out classrooms never tidy out of 20 microscopes the working ones were may be 5 or 10 the lab. In practicals even the faculty members doesn't know the correct procedure.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The college provides hostel arrangement just to the girls their is no accommodation for the boys. The boys need to find the accommodation elsewhere outside the campus there are many private hostels in the city so it wont be a big problem. For boys who got admission under sports quota they provide hostel and their food is from the college canteen.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year the college conducts its alumni meeting in the college on Jan 26. The alumni network is very strong and the college is proud to have many strong alumnies like the Former president of india KR Narayan Former Chief minister of kerala Oomen Chandy the famous scientist Sudershan.

Exam Structure

The Exam structure is a total comedy because in our department when the exam date is announced the teachers are in rush to complete their portions the exam date would be declared by the University and the time table would be provided.

Admission

After +2 I had no idea about what to do next at this time i heard about a scheme of the government called Ekajalkam where we can apply online to different colleges. so i registered in this scheme and applied online and my first iption was CMS college and when the merit list was published i got admission in CMS college and after that it was pretty much straight forward, i came to college office took admission.

Faculty

1

The Faculty i our department was an okey okey type faculty because the some faculty never even knew to teach properly. The primary job of any faculty is teach the students but in our department their primary job was to put their nose in the personal affairs of the students. The faculty only taught us pass the exams never to gain any knowledge or any skill.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Remarks:

College lacks infrastructure and ample space for the ease of college excitement but the college offers a great field of laboratories and on-site experience in the field the faculty and lectures sometimes involve too much into their personal life than minding their own business.
