Remarks

The infrastructure and Ambience is a huge boost. Lack of job opportunities, skill gaining environment, and lack of quality education is a huge setback. The college can really spend on some skill-based activities rather than ambience.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Course Curriculum involves lot of theory part and focues very less on practical knowledge due to which students who mug up score quite easily. Skills are not at all considered which is the major drawback.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide internship, but provides us an internship training and project opportunity for final semester students, where they can search internship at a company at go there for the entire final semester and can gain experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

The Placement and Job opportunities were good, but there is a decline since last year. Few of the companies are no longer coming and new companies are yet to come and make a mark. So its a crucial situation for the college to take some new initiatives and focus on more new companies.

College Events

3

There are lot of events that happen in college throughout the year. The college has various clubs like Aero Clubs, Motosports Club. The college has a E-cell called as KLE CTIE and Team Make in BVB which is a team which organises events related to Entrepreneurship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive especially the COMED-K fees structure. Its like 1.75 lakhs per year which is very expensive for a middle - class family. The Management seats are more expensive and the CET fees is also being increase every year (currently 70,000 per year including addition college fees).

Fees and Financial Aid

There are education loans given by the Syndicate Bank which is in the college campus. The scholarships given are generally to the rural people and people with low income and caste minorities. The middle-class families do not get much help from the schemes.

Campus Life

4

The cultural events are a huge add on and help you gain soft skills and some new experience. The labs are well funded and are very good but the old equipments need to be replaced. The Mechanical labs are really good and have huge facilities with maker's space a huge add on.

Hostel Facilities

3

The Ladies Hostel as my friends say is good but problem with Quality of Food. The hygiene is not well maintained. No issues with security.Boys Hostel is good but no proper cameras everywhere. Same problem with food again, Can be improved a lot with huge amount of fees they charge.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is maintained by the Placement Cell and is a huge network. Recently The Alumni meet was also held. Our college has some excellent Alumni like Smt. Sudha Murthy and many more. The Alumni's are also helping in getting their companies on board to recruit nowadays.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is not that good. There is relative grading. Generally internals and assignment together are graded for 50 marks and considered as CIE. The Final semester exams are conducted for 100 marks and scaled down to 50 and grades are given combining both.

Admission

First, My Class 12th Results were declared and then the KCET ( Karnataka Common Entrance Test) results were declared. I was allotted a rank by KEA. Once the rank was allocated, I had to entry the colleges I was interested in. After this, Mock allotment was done first and then final allotment and I had got this college based on my option entry and preferences. The documents required are to be taken to the college and then fees has to be paid via online or offline and challans are to be submitted to the Office.

Faculty

3

Most of the faculty are good and are very experienced. But few teachers do not take classes regularly and few of them are partial and favor a set of students in the class due to which the studying environment gets affected. Overall a good set of faculties are present.

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.
