- as of now the GLS is going under a huge reconstruction so the infrastructure is not so good.
- considering the fact that gls university is located in the city center so in the evening time there is lot of noise and unwanted sounds.
- there is a bit of attendance issue also. they do not consider attendance as an imp thing.
Course Curriculum Overview
in gls the course is desinged in such a manner that it provides practial exposure to its students. in initial 3 years there will be BA subjects also bbut in last 2 yrs there will be only Law subjects.
Internships Opportunities
it is compusory to undergo a month long internship ones a year. College provides the contact details of top lawyers in Ahmedabad which can help you in finding the best internship. it is mandated by BCI.
Fees and Financial Aid
in GLS University for BALLB I have to pay a sum of 75000 for each semester which makes a totalof 150000 for a year. i am unaware about the scholarships provided by Gls University. the fees remains constant throughout the course.
Campus Life
the campus of our college is very happning. there are many clubs like Environmental Law Clinic, Legal Aid Clinic, IP Clinic, Gender Law Clinic, etc. there are many events organised by our college which includes Saptrangi Fest, Day celebrations, etc.
Admission
exept gls i also applied for MSU Baroda but due to location of gls was more near my home town, i chose GLS over MSU. I Also applied for CLAT but as most of us I was unable to crack it. The Admission process of GLS is seemles. you will get admission on the base of your 12th score on the merit basis.
Faculty
in Faculty of Law GLS University all the faculties are well trained and educated to teach their students in a practical manner which is most imp thing in the field of law. mostly all the faculties are phd and epirienced. there are 2 major exams cunducted in one semester, one is internal exam and another is external exam. and class tests takes place frequently. Min 50% is needed to pass in each exam. the course structure is desinged in such a manner that it gives practical knowladge to it learners.
Interview Experience
no in GLS we dont need to give any such kind of things. the Admission is just based on your 12th Score. the admission will be given according to the merit based on your 12th score. no interviwe was taken.
Night Life
as I mentioned earlier GLS is located in the city center so till 2AM many things are open in the city. there are many area like Sindu Bavan Road and CG Road which are well known for their night life in Ahmedabad.
