Remarks

I should say faculties are TOP-NOTCH here at IBS HYDERABAD. In my observation they have crystal clear knowledge about the subject they teach. And off course few of them are also IIM qualified faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

Talking about course at IBS HYDERABAD ,the syllabus of MBA includes everything from your BUSINESS HISTORY to ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. There are in total 20 subjects in 1st year and 15 in another year.

Internships Opportunities

Off course college provides EACH AND EVERY student an internship with good stipend. Currently I'm done with my first year MBA at IBS HYDERABAD and I'm doing my internship at Sports365 Hyderabad where my job is to deal with sports equipment supply and marketing. Currently I'm getting 18000 as my total stipend.

Placement Experience

Speaking spade a spade my college has intake of 1300 students a year and it provide 98% placements each year. This year we're done with almost every student's placements with the average CTC of 7.8 lacs and Highest being 17 lacs for domestic and 52 lacs for International.

College Events

November to January are the months which we call as EVENTS SPECIAL MONTHS because these two months are full of events each day which gives you once in a life time experience. The Celebrity, Dj's, Bands, Fashion shows , Judges etc. Is toouch fun

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees in total is High. They charge you whooping 16 lacs for two year MBA program at IBS HYDERABAD. But if you look at the other institutions on IBS at Jaipur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, etc they charge less as compared to IBS HYDERABAD.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are currently not available at IBS HYDERABAD. But if student comes in top 10 among 1300 students he'll get 1 lac Rs as a scholarship amount at the end of the semester. And loan facilities are also available with different banks and Best among them being HDFC Credila.

Campus Life

IBS HYDERABAD supports all the activities being Extracurricular , sports, labs. Students have sports ground, Basketball ground, Swimming pool, Gyms available with all modern equipments. Different clubs have made to celebrate events and make tasks.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are world class with single occupancy room, and also student with medical condition gets specially equipped rooms at IBS HYDERABAD. Student gets their own rooms with all the facilities.

IBS HYDERABAD have so many clubs includes Alumini Relation Club which takes care of Alumini relation with students. They arrenge event naming Nostalgia in which all Alumini and let them share their experience in corporate life.

Exam Structure

Here in IBS HYDERABAD we have 4 semesters in total two years of MBA. And fifth being an internship period from March - June. Each semester you have an end term examination, who's scores are scaled on CGPA basis.

Admission

ICFAI conducts a special examination for the admission at different business schools of their own. Based on your examination scores they will allow you to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IBS HYDERABAD and if you clear all of them with good score , congrats you're done!

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth.The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly,the canteen food is worst.My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice.And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Likes

Things I liked they won't charge if they put any event,annual day, they will only charge for farewell that's common l thing in every college they don't show any biased over girl or boy , they won't restrict if boy and girls sits together
They kept more events in 1st year we used to attend them

Dislikes

They stopped keeping events after 2nd year
Lecturers are particular to there subjects like they taught CN subject for 2nd year the same lecture is teaching other subject in next semester
Security watchmens are so strict than clg management

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Good academics , poor facilities

Yeah our clg faculty is so Supportive and knowledgeable
Our college good environment and good interaction
Our clg has better infrastructure like labs and library

Dislikes

Our college doesn’t conduct events frequently
The major one is placement opportunities should be improved
And also adminsrative process is slow sometimes

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

Had a great college life

Likes

Campus environment and facilities are better and easily adoptable
Faculty quality is very high and available for all sections of students
Lab facilities, sports, NCC and NSS camps

Dislikes

Classroom furniture, old buildings and considering other colleges in the town its quite better

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get eligible for different placement offers and many MNC's and corporate companies offered placements . Average package known to my knowledge is in between 3-4 LPA and almost 70% of eligible students who attended placements were placed in different campanies .

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Likes

I really like the infrastructure of my college. Although it's established is 1995 the infrastructure is still pretty good with a huge campus of about 100 acres with good area dedicated to nature as well along with good classrooms and neat washrooms
I really like the faculty that teaches in my college. They are well educated and well spoken. I like their teaching methods too
I really like the course curriculum of my college. It's very flexible and simple. It makes our lives easier and makes the learning process simple as well

Dislikes

I don't like the location of the campus . It's in outskirts and very far from the main city
I don't like the concept of dress code everyday . I think out of 5 working days atleast 2 days should be allowed for civil dress
I don't like it's holiday system. It doesn't give holidays on optional ones declared by the government

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from semester 6 to get placed I guess I'm not sure . Hp, Hul, Deloitte etc are the companies that come in. Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Likes

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Expectations and the experience!

Likes

First thing is here,In our college there are very strict rules.
Discipline is considered first here in CAIMS.
The faculty is very serious about studies.

Dislikes

I don't like the food in mess , the food is not worth the fee in my opinion.
We don't have many parties or any celebrations,we only have fest and DGM once in a year.
There were no outings every week ,we have to take permission every time we go home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.

My life at ICFAI LAW Hyderabad

I had applied for other colleges but due to family issues, i couldn't go out of my home town for education. I had gotten into symbiosis but i saw the fee structure was too high and no transport facility was provided, then. There was also a safety issue with symbi as there were a lot of drug abuse cases reported. However, the courses thatbare offered in symbiosis are mostly corporate based and i am happy with my current electives as i want nothing to do with the corporate sector.
