Likes

Management and teachers were so great there.
There is a programme in 4th year which is elp and rawe.
No drinks and drugs are allowed in University

Dislikes

Hostel food is not that much good and not even according to the menu
Hostels are so strict to love in specially for girls
Nonveg is not allowed in University u can eat from outside

Course Curriculum Overview

This cource have scope in government as well as private as india is agriculture based country . Exams are quite difficult as there is vast syllabus that you have to complete in minimal time and then many get reappear but there is no chances of not clearing it

Internships Opportunities

U can get various opportunities in itc , dehaat , agrotill, etc . Companies. A good number of placement is available but u have to maintain your cgpa and cv for that. Various NPTEL and mooc cources also help in improving your cv

Placement Experience

Placement is quite good many of the students placed with package of 6 lakh to 8 lakh many get into their dream companies like itc. There is vast opportunity that you can grab . I have planned for enterpreneurship

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 84000in each sem after taking a scholarship. I am bsc agriculture student and there is great scope here for this subject management system is Great here and they provide u various career pathways through which you can get a experiential learning .

Campus Life

Lovely have a huge campus of 600acres and quite good in extracurricular specially in field of games they also provide scholarship to players. There are various clubs like dance club arts club and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good but message food is not that good .there will be daily room cleaning by the staffs Hostel warden are there to take care of your comfort. Affordability is quite low as the price is much high so people prefer to live in pg

Lovely have a quite good name in the market . I have joined here after listening about it daily in many advertisement but after coming to this uni i meet to so many things in my life and also a vast diversity can be seen here

Faculty

1 faculty per 30 student Best faculty for me was Deven sir from horticulture department he is so motivating as well as he take care of students so well. For me there is no faculty i didn't like all faculty members are highly educated and so helpful

Night Life

gym, cafeterias, library all are in campus eventually there is a mall in University too. Hostel Life is awesome with biggest hostel I have ever seen in my life. My famous outlet in University is kitchen ette and momovilaa

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

An honest review

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

I choosed this university over other universities lpu is affordable and other private universities like vit,srm where i faced high competition and rigid seat allocation. Additionaly the sheer vol of students taking admissions so such a massive batch size for resources and individual attention can be stressful compared to smaller, state label collages....Read More
