ALL ABOUT DTU FROM A FIRST YEAR (F)

right now if we'll see computer science is the highest paid ones in the market so that is the reason i choose this course. it doesn't give any real life knowledge but can help you to build a good and stable future financially.

i am first year so don't have much experience about it but as of what i heard so many good companies like Adobe, microsoft etc visit campus for internship. you can take help of proffs for projects they are super helpful.

placements are really good and almost all the good companies which go to NITS come here for placement offers too. Companies like microsoft, amazon, cisco etc. visted this year. Highest package this year was 85 lpa and average package for tech branches is like 20 lpa which is so good. 60%+ student got placed even during recssion.

yearwise fees is 2,36,700. Out of which 95,000 were submitted during counelling and rest after admission during first semester only. there is no semester wise payment complete [ayent has to be done in the starting week only. SC/ST students have to pay the same amount there is no differnce. All my batchmate paid same amount. YES, there are many scholarships or financial aids available for students that are provided by government.

there is this one club named UAS in our college which won an american army competition of drones and won the amonut of $60,000 which is huge. There are so many clubs for student in every field. i must say i societies and club dtu is one the best college in india. there are societies for rappers, dancers, fasion and everthing.

the prices are so high but the rooms and washrooms are like super clean. mess menu is so good even the food. quality is good . registration process is through a link given while admision on the website. locality is not so safe for girls especially so i'll prefer hostel only.

i applied to all the jac colleges which are igdtuw, iiitd, nsut and dtu. out of which i chose DTU because of it's brand value DTU was established in 1941 and most of the alumini from DTU have a good reputation in market and have starrted their own startups and are succesfull earlier DTU was known as DCE(DELHI COLLEGE OF ENGNEERING) many good startups have been started by the aluminis of dtu due to which it's market value is good. You can get into DTU through JEE MAINS exam there is this councelling called JAC as mentioned above. cutoffs for outside delhi student is pretty good but if you are a delhi candidate you should apply for sure because for delhi stydents their is 85% reservation.

The faculty is super cool. I personlly like this thing the most about DTU proffs are willing to help and super chill they want student to grow and you can always approach them they will help you like a mentor. If a person is willing to earn then they will show efforts too and if you don't want to study they simply just don'y care about that it's up to you . exams in my opinions are not that tough by studying notes of the teacher you can score good.

no such things are their but we have physical document verfication in the first alloted college. In ehich all the documents like reservation certificates jee mains admit card, etc. are physically verified.

their are so many food shops inside the campus. the food is quite expensive but the quality is good overall it's fine. i am a hosteller and hostel for girls is so so good there are AC hostels and they are so clean food is so good i personallly love dtu hostels i don't think so any government college would be giving such hostels. gym is crowded but good. library is cool and such a good place to study and issuing book is easy.
