My College

The college is an Ideal institution. It provides each and every facility. We have lovable and intellectual staff and they empower each student. Various competitions are held and students participate in every competition. I love the way the college is.

Course curriculum is good. As it is an autonomous college, they follow Choice Based Credit System. Our college lecturers dictate the course syllabus. They explain and teach in detail. And we too do a lot of self study. We give paper presentations, power point presentations and seminars and these help us to grow and develop our skills.

Yes. Our college provide internship. As I am a Travel management student, I did my internship at 2 places, one at Gannavaram Airport, Vijayawada and another at Sugamyam Fine Destinations, Chennai. My experience at both the places is beneficial. The training has taught me more than I could have imagined. It taught me how to behave in the workplace. Just observing the day to day agency's events and works has taught me more about team work. It gave me confidence and I was trusted with responsibilities that challenged my computer skills and creativity. We paid for our internship and learnt everything.

Yes. Placements are good. We get placements in different companies. From Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. People come here to interview us. We develop and improve our skills by attending the interviews.

Events celebrated are Orientation, Valedictory ceremonies, Hostel day, College day, Sports day, Fete, Cultural week, Christmas celebration, World AIDS Day and all other international days, Guest lectures, National seminars, Republic Day and Independence day, Farewell day etc.

Fees structure is reasonable. It may vary for each course. All the students should pay through online mode. The college management will explain about the fee payment details in detail. Fee structure is feasible.

The students have to apply for the Scholarships, the necessary dicequipment include are Aaadhar card, Income certificate, Caste certificate, Birth certificate etc. All the scholarship students must pay the fee.

The college has good labs and great library. Various extracurricular activities are NSS, NCC, STARS, Sports, Literary activities, Cultural activities, Yoga and Martial arts. We learn valuable lessons from each activity and develop our thinking abilities.

Hostel is a home away from home where in the hostelites are united as one large, happy family. Ragging is absolutely forbidden. Serious disciplinary action will be taken towards students resorting to Ragging. Hostel infrastructure is good and well maintained.

The Alumnae of Maris Stella are spread far and wide in responsible positions and contributing their part to the society upholding the ideals and the values of the college. MSAA (Maris Stella Alumnae Association) has been growing from strength to strength since the inception of the institution. The members meet at least once a year. They all extend their help.

All under graduate programmes are programmed on the semester pattern, requiring six semesters of study for a bachelor's degree. Each semester has a minimum of fifteen weeks of six working days per week or ninety instructional days. Evaluation of students shall be based on both Continuous Assessment (CA) for 40 marks and Semester - End Examination (SEE) for 60 marks. CA has two components, component one comprises of two tests for 30 marks. 2nd component carries 10 marks through a seminar, quiz or group assignment.

I got admission through passing an interview and through my intermediate marks. An individual must bring their mark sheets of 10th and intermediate, passport size photos, aadhar and different proofs. And the individual has to attend the interview, follow the management procedures and fill the application form.

We have an excellent faculty. They are highly educated and well experienced. They make us to read by ourselves and encourage us. They all are humble and intellectual. They motivate each and every student.
