Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college by my own priorities and preference. I got to know about this college from internet and its teaching knowledge from my relatives and it is really amzing here. It was my dream to pursue law and be a lawyer and stand for the truth and help our country to develop more.

1.I pay Rs 10000/- per year. 2. Tuition fees- Rs 5000/- Caution fees-Rs 1000/- Registration fees-Rs 150/- Admission fees-Rs 2000/- Developmental fees-Rs1000/- Other compulsory charges-Rs850/- 3. My college provides only state scholarship of Rs 20000/- per year.

Campus Life

My overall experience in the campus is very beautiful and full of enjoyment. our college gives us many more opportunities like participating in sports, debates, cultural programs and many more. They also helps us to know how to socialize how to understand someone's psychology, their cultures, their believes and many more.

Admission

I choosed this college as it is very nuch approchable and preferrable for me. its little far from my home but its worth travelling for studying in a great environment, gain knowledges from very experienced teachers and spending time with friends.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:24. The relationship between facutly and student is very approchable and the faculties here are ver lovely, understanding and helpful. They guide us how to write a perfect answer in the exam and how it can imoress other teachers and guide us in our life too by sharing their experiences.

Night Life

Nightlife in my college is full of lights of energy and enjoyments. They provide us both outdoor and indoor games for refreshing our stressful minds. in outdoor games we play badminton, volley ball, dotch ball and many more whereas in indoor games they provide us carrom, chess, and also provide e-sports. Overall experinece in very nice and full of joy.

KIIT SOL is soul of law students!

Likes

All foreign nationals at our university stays with guaranteed security measures at our campus.
Our university faculties of law departments are scholars in true sense.
Placements of KIIT SOL ha started now as earlier law students were having no place in placements cell plans.

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law have started recently and though aren't in full fledged but somehow they are good to motivate the juniors. 30-40k which is I feel a proud salary for a law student to begin with as otherwise even after studying law students are seen interning.

Likes

In legal studies, seminars, workshops and moot courts all are essential for getting practical knowledge and we were provided all of these opportunities at KIIT SOL.
Our canteen also had TV and we used to play music or matches their at will.

Dislikes

Intenrships were not provided at our college and that I feel should be there.

Placement Experience:

Well, I passed out in 2024 and till then some corporate houses such as Bajaj and Deloitte were the only major corporate houses which provided us placements. Also, firms like Khaitan & Co and others also started coming for placements. On and average 40-50k were the initial salaries that law students of our college were given.

KIIT School of Law is incredible!

Likes

KIIT University of Law is one of those private Orissa University which has an active placements cell too.
We have fests which are biggest in Orissa as no other university or college has budget like ours.

Dislikes

Not many scholarships are provided and that's a big issue as fees is already very high.

Placement Experience:

Law firms of litigation or corporate law firms were among other who have joined hands with KIIT School of Law. It's an amazing college and placements too are good as generally freshers lawyers don't get what students of KIIT School of Law are paid from campus placements of KIIT School of Law. Thus our placements are next to NLUO in Orissa.

Review for Soa national institute of law. Read this before taking admission

Likes

The students here are very friendly and you don't feel discrimination as many outsider study here so the interaction and campus life is good.
The faculty here are excellent there teaching methods are really nice and they are experienced too with degree from NLUs or other reputed law college.
Infrastructure is quite good. You get a big library with almost everybook and ever english newspaper daily. Every classroom has AC so it's good.

Dislikes

The campus is located in a village area where you need to walk around 2-3 km to get some good food.
The campus is very small which just have college building and nothing else not even a playground.
You will always get suprise notice of exams, reopening of college and everything. The management is not good everything here is delayed and not seen seriously.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for placement. Quickflex and some other companies visited our university and around 15-20 offers are made. The highest placement is 500000rs per year and the average package is around 350000 per year. 20-25% students get placed. My 1st plan is to get placed somewhere and then start my preparation for judiciary.

My Honest Review on my College

Likes

My college is having a good infrastructure with a large number of support staffs and the camps always has a neat and clean environment.
The teaching staff is well experienced and are very knowledgeable in their field of studies and are very helpful towards our studies all the time. We are also allowed to call and approach them if we need them urgently for any reason.
The fooding and lodging facilities are very good. We have 24×7 electricity and Water supply through out 365 days of a year. The hostels have a neet and clean environment along with Wifi facilities and is open for stay everytime through out the year.

Dislikes

Our college is at a distance of 2 kms from the main market. The road facilities are not too good but ok enough to reach the campus.
Our college campus roads have a lots of humps on them.
There are no holiday or half day on Saturdays

Placement Experience:

The college has a seperate Placement Cell and the placement cell offers us placements. The students get eligible for placement after the completion of 4th year. There are many companies like Infotech limited, Riseon limited, Wipro limited, etc. they come for placements. The highest package is 55000/- per month that is received in our campus. In our campus 75% of students get admissions per batch. My interest is to continue persuing LLM in this institution after the completion of my BA LLB (H) course.

We have some rare sports facilities like Futsal and Kho Kho Ground.
The ground is set on fire during events and fests and our ground is indeed multi purpose.
Infrastructure is overall quite good as many renovations were made recently.

Dislikes

There's no good canteen inside the campus and therefore we often have to go out for meals or snacks.

Placement Experience:

Students of our college gets placements easily. A lot of companies and the best is ITC and other FMCG group too are a part of our college placements. 4-6 lakhs is what graudates are paid and I think as per the college and the kind of fees we pay, it's quite reasonable the paycut I mean.

The freshers party and farewell party are conducted very well in the college.
The seniors are very friendly with the juniors.

The campus of the college is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the college because it is nearer to my town. There are less regular faculty and more guest faculty. Some faculty teaches better. Semester Exams held at a interval of 4-5 months. It depends on one's study pattern whether it's difficult or easy to pass the semester exams.

My law college experience

Likes

Teaching methods and classroom activities as well as time table of college
All the fest and extra curricular activities and sports meets held in college
Peacefull environment of Library as it's new infrastructure is more satisfying.

Dislikes

As its not cover that much big area so it's quite conjusted.
There is no college cafe inside the college so there should be a cafe inside college
Infrastructure can be more better and need more beautification

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a very reputed as well as old law college. Faculty are well experienced and talented.teaching methods are extremely satisfying and better for legal skill development.There are total 10 semester in 5yr in total. It's quite difficult but exciting to learning and not only just pass but teachers also hardworking and motivate students to do best results.

LIFE AT NLUO BACK AT 2012

Likes

The location of the college, being in between two rivers and amidst nature
The people and the diverse crowds and the opportunity to connect with different people
The campus is huge with a lot of facilties and opportunities to play and spend idle time

Dislikes

the construction was slow which barred from availing the facilities for which we paid
the administration is slow to respond
the hostel facilities and the quality of food is not good and there is limit to the food consumed

Placement Experience:

Law colleges as such don't [provide placements in a holistic way like B-schools or engineering schools. Although there exist tie-ups with top tier firms especially when it is an NLU, and other banks and companies. Considering litigation exists many students don't opt for placements.

I also applied to Banaras Hindu University and University Law College affiliated with utkal University. I chose this college as it was the first law college in odisha. The admission process is totally based on Entrance exams which is based on your general knowledge, reasoning, english etc. to be eligible u have complete your graduation and the exam is very easy to crack if u have basic knowledge about the above subjects.
