- The college is little far enough from the main city so there are problems for transportation for the day scholars
- The hostel facilities are also not so great as compared to other hostels
- There are problems for outings on weekdays also
Course Curriculum Overview
My course bcom caters to the corporate sector and i personally like and have interest in this field so i chose this course for me. This course prepares you to face the corporate world and also get knowledge about the management sector as well. Some areas need improvement.
Internships Opportunities
The bharat indusland bank gave the recent internship to the students of B.com in their last semester. The stipend provided was Rs.10000 per month The internship provideds real world knowledge and experience to the students
Placement Experience
After the 5th semester the students are eligible for their placements and internships are being provided by the university. Several companies have visited such as IDFC bank,Haldiram, Reliance , Deloitee, Berger paints , muthoot finance, etc. Highest average package is 700000 per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is 75%
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees for the course B.com is Rs.50000 Total course fee Rs.20000 Caution fee Rs.5000 The fees for the following other courses are: BCA Rs.35000/yr BBA Rs.42000/yr BA.ECO Rs.25000/yr BA Rs.25000/yr There are scholarships available for the students such as the ASBM scholarship scheme which gives 20% deduct in the course fees for students getting more than 60% in their 12th Board
Campus Life
There are variou fests , events and festivals organised by the college every month. There is a central library where various types of books are available. There is facility provided such as smart board in the classrooms encoraging technical learning. There are sports events also being organized such as chess competition , carrom competition, tug of war, badminton tournament
Hostel Facilities
There are single occupancy and double occupancy with common washroom for all. The meal quality has variety in it but it not so great in taste. The registration process is filling up of hostel form with advance bookings There is as apartment nearby the university for renting services
Admission
I gave the cuet exams whose results were getting delayed as of that i applied to this college and the course fee was also reasonable as comparaed to other private universities. I got a seat at the south campus of Delhi university but i chose this college over that was because for graduation wasting money was a waste.
Faculty
The faculty of the ASBM university is great and excellent they are very friendly and approachable for any problems. The best faculty is the faculty of the school of accountancy from my point of view apart from that all are great . There are 3 internals conducted in each semester out of which the marks of the best 2 are taken into consideration. There are 2 examinations conducted in a semester one is the mid sem and the other is the end sem. Major papers are of 70 marks And minor paper are of 35 or 50 marks. The students pass the exam easily only a few of them get a backlog as the paper is set easy compared
Night Life
There is unisex gym inside the campus only for the hostelites. There is a cafeteria nescafe inside the campus and also public sitting areas. The hostel in timing is 8:00 pm The locality is very much safe for students to roam around at night. Various places to sit and chill with friends
