Internships Opportunities

I think our college does not provide internship. I actually dont know about the internships in our college.as our college is degree and pg college it does not provide internships. So our college does not provide internships

Placement Experience

2

Every one says that we have placementsin this college. But i actually dont have any idea of placements. There are some senior students who got placements in some of the good companies.i actually hope that we have placements

College Events

4

Our college has several events in a year for degree students.the first is freshers and farewell parties.the annual day is conducted every year.we also have sports day.the sports competitions are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for BSC computer students is 20000 per year. The fee is also refunded by the government for the scholarship holders. For the non computer students i think the fee is around 6000.I think the fee is not at all expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The refundment of the fee for the scholarship holders. There is a merit scholarship for the students who have scored good marks in board of intermediate.there is no loan facility provided in the college

Campus Life

4.5

The lab infrastructure is really good.i like all the lab sessions.the extra curricular activities are NCC and NSS the students in the NCC have their morning schedule they go to the camps.the NCC and NSS students conduct rallies on the current social issues in the society

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel infrastructure is not good.As it is the government college the infrastructure is actually bad.this is the reason i did not join the college hostel.but the food is really good and healthy too.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are actually good.as our college is only the girls college there is no problem. The seniors only rag the juniors only during freshers party and that too in a healthy manner which is not a problem

Exam Structure

We have two semisters each year For degree students as the course is 3 years we have 6 semisters and for pg students as the course is 2 years we have 4 semisters.we have 2 internals and one lab internal and one lab external before the semester exams all these internal marks are included in the semister marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.
