Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is very relavant to the job market scenario and my seniors are placed well as of what i knew speaking to them and the average package for cse students is around 900000 which is good compared to other colleges

Placement Experience

3

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

Fees and Financial Aid

i pay 2,75,000 as tution fee as i got admission with slab 2 and additionally i pay 27000 hostel fee and 55000 mess fee and my other mates pay based on their slabs if they got admitted with slab 1 they are paying 150000 if they got slab 3 they are paying 400000 and if they got seat through management they are paying around 600000

Campus Life

2

Female students are not allowed to go out after 5pm which is ridiculous and boys have to get back to hostels by 9pm there are lot of clubs which any one can be a part of which help to improve skills and there are well equipped labs

Hostel Facilities

4

I chose hostel there are 3 members in a single room with attached wash rooms for first years and the food is eatable ,egg is served two times a week and paneer is served one time a week lunch is not very good most people prefer to eat in canteen or the timings are very strict breakfast is served ffrom 7am to 8 15 am and lunch timings vary based on timetable and dinner starts at 7 and ends at 8 pm

Admission

I chose this college because as of what spoke to. the seniors of the college they said that this college is very good compared to my state colleges where i would take admission other wise and iwanted to get into Bits or Nit but i could not as i could not focus on studies during that period the admission proccess was very long after getting results there was a trial round and there were three more rounds after that

Faculty

4

All the faculty is very friendly they are very open for my doubts and my course is very updated compared to my friends in other colleges but one thing i dont like is marking scheme 50% marks are internal mids carry 20% and 30% is carried by sem exams

Night Life

1

Nightlife is dead in the college we are not allowed to go out after 9pm and girls cannot go out after 5pm if you are a club member you can get into hostel at 10pm during events there is slight allowance we can get back to hostel by 10pm,Gym is very far from first year hostels and only limited no of students are allowed during a shift .Library is open upto 7Pm and during holidays there are different timings

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
