The management needs to improve in certain areas like bringing in more companies for placement certain rooms need to be renovated college management definitely need to communicate with the students for knowing their problems.

I took AIEEE exam in the year 2007 through which I qualified for the ECE course in NIT Agartala i have cored 178 in AIEEE exam i always had the dream to study electronics and it was the only college along with some few colleges offering the respective course i also got Computer science in NIT Rourkella but i was much attached to ECE course so I decided to take up this course as I was more inclined to ECE.

The internship process was quite good we went for internship in 2nd as well as 3rd year the fourth Year was all project related where we were sent to Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata for internship it was a wonderful experience for us. I got stipend of Rs 10000 per year from government for pursuing degree in this college it was State government stipend for the students who are pursuing engineering or medical degree from different colleges.

Total during our time near about 60 to 70 companies came to our college for campussing most of the IT companies like TCS, CTS and all others offered packages ranging from 300000 to 600000 the Core companies like NTPC, IOCL gave packages ranging from 800000 to 1300000.

We celebrated Moksha every year where different bands from different parts of the country attended our college aarya was another event where it was a chance for the young students to show their inventions to the world different stalls were made and allotted to student groups to showcase their projects moreover there were cricket, football, Table tennis competition held every year in our college ground computer games competition like Counter strike, Fifa was also held between the different NITs.

The fee structure is quite economic and it is central govt college so nothing much can be done about it the hostel fee is also at par with other NITs the Tution fees is also loww ranging from 14000 to 20000 depending on semesters this is not high if we compare other NIts and IITs.

There is no easy loan facility available this facility is missing and definitely required as I am working in bank right now i will take up the proposal to my higher authorities as students from economical background will be very much helped from this facility.

The quality standard was not upto the mark previously but it has definitely improved over time it is a joint effort from students along withe management team and we as the Alumnis want to see our college reach the top we are waiting for that day.

The hostel food is quite good vegetarians dont find difficulty as their food are prepared separately the canteen stuffs are also good and friendly we had such friendship that if we felt hungry at 2 oclock at night they will prepare something for us.

The alumnies and the current students are connected via facebook and other social networks we arrange outings every second month people who are posted in other states also comes to the meeting place like last month we went to Lonavala alumnis from Chennai, Bangalore and Pune attended the outing it was a grand success.

The exam labs were first scary for us as we were moderately new to this field but with time the labs became our class.

The faculties are quite good first they were a bit unreachable but as the time gone by we became more friendly they helped out in most of the cases may it be practical or field work or any general query they always stood up to entertain our queries we eve
