Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum as per ANNA university is okay. It's nothing to boast about but its pretty relevant. If lab are given a bit more importance it would've been better. Lab exams are done only for the sake of conducting exam, so lab classes are not taken properly. It's an area that should improve a lot. If you study in this college and pass out you'll just havr the basic knowledge. If you want to be skilled you should opt for other online courses to learn deeper

Placement Experience

2

From the third year onwards students without arrears are allowed to attend placement drives. A lot of companies come to hire students. 3-3.5 LPA is the average salary most companies are telecallers. Highest said package this year 8 LPA. But that is not the correct as per seniors. I am planning to look for jobs other ways after graduation. I have no trust in this college's placement

Fees and Financial Aid

For computer science and Business systems All year fees Tution fee - Rs. 95000 /- for non scholarship students Hostel fee - Rs. 65000/- for non scholarship students During admission store fee of Rs. 12000/- has to be paid for books and labcoat. no caution deposit or other fees. Exam fees : Rs. 300/- for each subject and Rs. 600/- for integrated subjects For Petroleum engineering Tution fee : Rs. 60000/- per year Hostel fee : Rs. 35000/- per year Cse Tution fee: Rs. 110000 per year Hostel fee: Rs. 65000 per year

Campus Life

3

Technical fest J'Finagles is conducted once every year. Every department prepared games and events and students from other colleges visit here Cultures fest is conducted usually in the month of may. Usually it is a 2 day program. Onam festival is conducted during the month of September by Kerala students Pongal festival is conducted on pongal day by Tamil students Sports are taken seriously and students participate in many events taken to by the college. The sports team include Kabaddi, volleyball, football batminton and athletics There are a lot of clubs but none of them are active. Only one club activity is done every year that is the photography contest. It's done just to please the first year student A lot of books on the course subjects are available in library. Most of them are of old regulation. There are some rare books don't know it's value though. Journals arr there just do they can say there are. New issues are no updated since the last 2 years the same books are there

Hostel Facilities

3

There are 2 hostels inside the campus for boys and 1 for girls. One of the hostels is new with full ac and provate bathrooms. The food is said to be good. The old hostel is very bad almost 10 pr more students are forced inside a room with communal bathroom for each floor which smells awful and disgusting most of the times. The food is also pretty bad. On Wednesdays and Sundays you get non veg option.. Chicken on Wednesdays and chicken or fish on Sundays. I have rented a home after 1st year which seems better in all ways Hostel fees varies for students basrd on many factors and departments.. You can negotiate the fee. Always negotiate the fees you could get it for almost the half price

Admission

The main reason I chose this college is because they didn't ask for any donations. Other colleges I visited asked for donation ranging from 1 lakh to 5 lakhs. And only a few colleges had computer science and Business systems programme. JCT is the only college I applied to. Admission process for management seat is easy and straight forward. Fill the application form anf pay the fees submit the necessary documents ( +2 certificate, sslc certificate, Nativity certificate, income certificate, community certificate, etc).

Faculty

3

In cse, csbs, aids almost 60 students are there. In each class 2 staffs manage them. Class Advisor and class tutor. The staffs are mostly very approachable and friendly. You can approach any of them for any reason without any worry. Except very few who will yell at you and curse at you no matter what you do. In Petroleum engineering Janardhanan is a very rude staff. He threatens students by saying he will fail them if anyone doesn't listen to him or talks back to him. He unnecessarily scolds and curses students throws their books and does many rude things. Other than a very few like him most staffs are pretty friendly There are 2 internal exams CIA1 and CIA 2. In each CIA exam 2.5 units are asked of each subjects. The staff will provide important topics to. Study and if you study6them willl it's easy to pass

Night Life

1

Nightlife is pretty much non-existant. Girls are not allowed outside their hostel after 5 pm. Boys are allowed until 9 pm. The only reason to get out of the hostel is to get out of the college for tea or food. There is no place to hangout in thr college at night. There is a gym. Equipments are not maintained well only a few people use it college canteen closes after 4.30 pm. For boys its pretty safe to roam about at night can't say the same for girls. College is located in a village so there are people always watching and nearby

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
