Entrance Preview
Once i completed my diploma in computer science, i had to opt for a entrance exam. I had score around 1200 marks in computer science and 500 marks in the non-technical round. I was lucky enough to get a merit seat in BVB college with a minimum of 17,000 Rs per year. The admission process too simple . i need to present the receipt that i got from CET cell and provide the merit amount, and thats all, i got enrolled in BVB college !!
Course Curriculum Overview
We can access the course curriculum from our college website. There are a set of electives who sit together every 6 months to review and update the course syllabus. The highest post members in the top educational institutes across Karnataka will be chosen as elective. They sit together and decide the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Yes it provides internship. Karmic is one such company that i m having in my memory.
Placement Experience
Placements are really awesome in BVB college. I am in contact with the placement officer still, as he was very close to me in my college days. He used to teach us one subject in our course of time. College Events
We celebrate lot of events, Technical events are more in number. The participation is also easy and there are more participants across all courses. This college holds its name in all these technical, cultural and management festivals . We would have annual day celebrations, which every one in our college would participate . Many skits and dances were used to get performed in our BVB stage and we would just enjoy those evenings.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible, not expensive. If you are enrolling in a management fee structure (not as a merit student), then you may need to loose more cents from your pocket. However every penny that you loose is worth in these kind of colleges. They really refine your future.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, one of my friend who passed out with highest marks was fortunate enough to get a lecturer post in the same college (he loved teaching others). Later one of our lecturer raised his name for scholarship which helped him a lot in pursuing M.S (M tech in Information Technology). This was totally sponsored totally by BVB college.
Campus Life
Our college always entertained sports and other competitions . We had inter-college robotics competition and it went on with high standard robotics creations.My sister was an Electronics student and she has also taken part in this Robotics . Then for a computer science students, a competition for creation of mobile apps was scheduled and exciting cash offers were provided for the best app developed.The students were very happy and well cultured with all religion statuses available. Politics among the students and staff were least entertained and if anyone found practicing it, he would be debarred from college without any prior notice.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are awesome . The buildings are clean and well maintained. i actually used to stay in my home with parents. But i used to often visit these hostels to meet my friends very often. The food is actually delicious and you get both thali's (

My college seniors and even my classmates are now in a great positions in all the software companies. Even the C.E.O of a software company was a BVB'ian (student of BVB college). Many of my friends go to BVB college and provide a presentation about their experience in the software Industry. Recently i had been there to recruit the student for the software company that i m presently working in.
